Angel Locsin to reunite with Sam Milby and Zanjoe Marudo in The Third Party

Angel Locsin will soon topbill the Star Cinema movie The Third Party. She will work with former leading men Zanjoe Marudo (in white) and Sam Milby (in black). Directing the movie is Jason Paul Laxamana, who is known for the rom com Love is Blind.


Angel Locsin will soon be working on her second movie this year, which is titled The Third Party.

In this movie, she will be working again with her two former leading men: Sam Milby and Zanjoe Marudo.

The story conference happened earlier today, July 15, according to Star Cinema's Instagram account (@starcinema).


The upcoming film will be directed by indie director Jason Paul Laxamana, whose first mainstream movie was Love is Blind starring Kiray Celis, Solenn Heussaff, and Derek Ramsay.

The Third Party serves as Angel's second movie this year. The first was Everything About Her where she co-starred with Xian Lim and the Star for all Seasons Vilma Santos.

This is the third time Angel will be having Sam as her leading man. The first was the actress's first Maalaala Mo Kaya episode titled "Pilat," while the second was the Filipino adaptation of Koreanovela Only You aired in 2009.

On the other hand, Angel was paired with Zanjoe in the movie One More Try, which was part of the Metro Manila Film Festival in 2012.
