Sarah Geronimo and Alden Richards were among the big winners at the 2016 Awit Awards held yesterday, December 7, at the Music Museum.
The Popstar Princess won the Album of the Year award, making this her second consecutive time to win in the said category. It also marks Sarah's 12th win at the Awit Awards.
Last year, Sarah's album Perfectly Imperfect also won the Album of the Year award.
Meanwhile, Alden got three awards. The Pambasang Bae got the Most Downloaded Artist award while his song "Wish I May" won the Most Downloaded Song award.
His album Wish I May also won as the Best Selling Album of the Year award.
