Dingdong Avanzado and Rachel Alejandro reunite for Mar 7 concert

Ex-couple Dingdong Avanzado and Rachel Alejandro reunite for a concert on March 7, 2009. Titled Music and Lyrics, this one-night event will take place at Metro Bar Quezon City.
Ex-sweethearts Dingdong Avanzado and Rachel Alejandro will have their own reunion concert.
Uso ngayon ang reunion concert sa mga dating mag-partners o magkakasing henerasyon. Ilan dito ay ang Golden Diva nina Pilita Corrales at Carmen Patena; ang '80s idols na sina Gino Padilla, Louie Heredia, Raymond Lauchengco at Randy Santiago in Greatest Hits of the ‘80s; ang '70s singers na sina Victor Wood, Jun Polistico and Anthony Castelo in The Great Balladeers at ang pinakahuli nga ay ang reunion concert nina Pops Fernandez at Martin Nievera noong February 6.
Ang susunod na magkakaroon ng reunion concert this March 7 ay ang dating mag sweetheart na sina Dingdong Avanzado at Rachel Alejandro. Ang kanilang muling pagsasama ay pinamagatang Music and Lyrics at gaganapin sa Metro Bar Quezon City.
Songs from the eighties and nineties ang theme ng concert. Bukod sa kanilang mga solo at duet spots, may production number din sina Dingdong at Rachel ng mga latest hits.
Tiyak na kakantahin nila ang 1995 Awit Award Song of the Year at Best Ballad Recording of the year na "Paalam Na" na may music ni Dingdong at lyrics nila ni Rachel. Ang collaboration na ito ang naging dahilan kung kaya't Music and Lyrics ang naging titulo ng concert.
Manonood ng concert si Jessa Zaragoza. Hindi naman sigurado kung may guest appearance siya dahil reunion concert nga ito nina Dingdong at Rachel. Nagkaroon na sila ng concert noon sa USA na magkakasama talaga sila at ito ang naging theme.
Balitang nagkausap muna sina Jessa at Rachel bago natuloy ang concert na dapat sana ay pang Valentine sa isang hotel lounge. Matatandaang ang huling balita sa tatlo ay nang umamin noon si Rachel na si Dingdong ang nakauna sa kaniya sa 40 Forbidden Questions segment ng radio show ni Mo Twister.
