Yeng Constantino's third album titled Lapit is now available in record bars. She specifically asked Raimund Marasigan, vocalist of Sandwich, to produce this 10-track album.
Yeng Constantino is back to delight her fans and listeners once again after a break in the recording scene.
The Grand Star Dreamer of Pinoy Dream Academy Season 1 disclosed that for quite some time, she experienced writer's block—hindering her from composing songs.
Yeng became apprehensive but she did not let anxiety take over her talent. One person who helped Yeng push through with her third album is Raimund Marasigan, former Eraserheads drummer and now, Sandwich's vocalist. "I was the one who asked Raimund to produce my next album. I am a big fan of his. He taught me how to have fun while still being serious on my career," Yeng enthused.
Why the album title, Lapit?
She pointed out that her collaboration with Raymund has the approval and support of Star Records.. "Pinayagan naman ako ng Star Records. I asked my bosses and they allowed me to do this," Yeng shared.
After Yeng's platinum-awarded albums namely, Salamat and Journey, comes her third album titled Lapit. Her newest album contains 10 tracks including "Wag Kang Magtatanong," "Jeepney Love Story," "Pag Ayaw Mo Na," "Siguro," "Takas," "Maghihintay," "Wag Na," "Akin Ka Na" and "Siguro" with its carrier single "Lapit."
Yeng Constantino is out again to rock your world with her music. Lapit is now available in record bars nationwide under Star Records.
