Ex-Pinoy Idol finalist Carol Leus grabs another chance at singing
Thursday, March 4, 2010 07:35 PM
Carol Leus, the first finalist who got eliminated from Pinoy Idol, bounces back with a self-titled album. The Batangas lass says she and her batchmates have lost touch since the local franchise of Americal Idol ended last August 17, 2008.
Napakarami na ring nasalihan na contest si Carol, at nagwagi pa nga ito sa ilan, gaya ng—StarQuest 2003 Dubai, where she emerged as the First Runner-up; TFC Popstar Duibai 2004, where she was the Grand Champion; UPLB Star in Carillon, where she was also hailed Grand Champion, to name a few.
It was only late last year when she decided to have a fresh start with her singing career, with the help of his manager/album producer Boy Christopher.
Out na sa market ang kanyang self-titled album na Carol Leus, na may 12 tracks—including her carrier single "Timang," a composition of Boy Christopher, who also did Willy Garte's "Bawal Na Gamot."
Other songs included are "Magkaibigang Nagkaibigan," "Just To Make You Stay," "Hindi Ako Laruan," "Kung Magbabalik Ka," "Senti," "Ngayon Lang," "Our Love Will Always Stay," "Tunay Na Pag-Ibig," "Malilimutan Din Kita," and "Paalam at Good Luck."
Para kay Carol, it's never too late to resume her aborted singing career.
During the music video shoot for her carrier single, she has Joross Gamboa as her leading man.
And although Carol was first seen in GMA-7 because of Pinoy Idol, open daw siya ngayon sa kahit na anong network na puwede siyang bigyan ng pagkakataon.
