Raki Vega of Born Diva reality-TV fame joins Reymond Sajor in a concert before they compete at the 11th World Championships of Performing Arts from July 28 to August 5.
Reymond Sajor Live! hits SM City Lucena Cinema 4 on July 14, Saturday, at 6 p.m. Reymond stops by his hometown to sing before his fellow Lucenahins before flying to Hollywood, California, to compete at the 11th World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA).
Mounted by Lucena City-based Soundtrack Productions, Reymond Sajor Live! will feature homegrown artists Marian Odette Garcia, Terence Panganiban, Nilo Alcala, and the C3:17 band. Raki Vega of Born Diva reality-TV fame, and Reymond's fellow delegate to this year's WCOPA, will also perform in the concert.
Just like in Reymond's previous concerts in Manila, Cotabato, Cebu City, and Nueva Ecija, Reymond Sajor Live! will have music selections for everybody—from classic love songs to Broadway tunes, and a lot more.
"I feel so blessed with the outpouring [of] support that my kababayans have been extending to me since my stint in Philippine Idol to my quest for the World Championships. The fact that my show will be the first-ever live concert to be held at SM City Lucena Cinema 4 makes this ‘send off' event even more exhilarating," says Reymond.
Reymond is all set to compete in the WCOPA pop, gospel, contemporary and Broadway solo vocal competitions to be held at the Universal City Walk in Hollywood, and Marriott and Westin Bonaventure convention centers in Burbank, California, on July 28 to Aug. 5. Gerard Salonga is arranging his contest pieces.
Reymond is part of Team Philippines to 2007 WCOPA led by National Director Carlo Orosa, and team assistant Oliver Oliveros. Other delegates include junior contestant Aria Clemente, and senior contestants Reuben Laurente, Raki Vega, Iago Raterta, and the Revelation Band.
