GMA-7 unveiled a new trailer of its epic telefantasya Encantadia earler today, July 5.
The two-minute trailer was shown after the primetime newscast 24 Oras and later uploaded on Encantadia's official Facebook fan page.
Before the trailer was revealed, Iya Villania officially announced that the show directed by Mark Reyes will air its pilot episode on July 18.
It will replace the comedy-drama series Poor Senorita topbilled by Regine Velasquez.
Four Kapuso actresses will reprise the roles of the four Sang'gres (diwatas) in this requel (remake + sequel).
Kylie Padilla brings life to Amihan originally played by Iza Calzado in the 2005 version. Gabbi Garcia takes over the role of Alena who was originally played by singer-actress Karylle. Newbie Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez is cast as Danaya, once played by Diana Zubiri. Last but not the least, Glaiza de Castro bagged the role of Pirena, originally played by Sunshine Dizon.
Encantadiks witnessed new scenes from the upcoming telefantasya and got to hear a brand new opening song in the new trailer.
