USI (Under Special Investigation) challenges Sen. Dick Gordon and Coun. JC delos Reyes tonight

USI (Under Special Investigation) host Paolo Bediones takes his "reality TV" expertise and apply it in his hosting in this new TV5 news and public affairs program that aims to expose more the real personalities behind the news.

Taking an in-depth look into controversial personalities and the latest hot-button political issues, news anchor Paolo Bediones will report his findings in USI (Under Special Investigation), a new current affairs program airing every Sunday on TV5.

A one-hour program that examines the entire investigative dossier of a personality in assessment, USI aims to reveal and unmask the true character of a person based on his words and deeds—keeping true to its slogan, "Matutukoy ang tunay na karakter ng isang tao di lang sa kanyang salita, kundi pati na rin sa kanyang kilos at gawa."

In the program's pilot episode—the first in a series on presidential candidates, USI zeroes in on Senator Richard "Dick" Gordon and his nephew, Councilor John Carlos "JC" delos Reyes.

Known as a tough leader, Paolo and his USI team gets Gordon to respond to criticisms about his staid management style, as well as his position of being the head of Philippine Red Cross. With the presidentiable's usual frankness, Gordon also speaks his mind not only about his critics, but with the way media covers the news.

In an interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), host Paolo Bediones also revealed how he challenged Sen. Gordon to take his blood pressure and blood sample since he is the chief of Philippine Red Cross (CLICK HERE to read related article). Paolo's specialty is "reality TV" having hosted before TV shows that has a reality / challenge format.

The USI team takes Olongapo City councilor JC delos Reyes and the viewers to hs bailiwick in Quezon City, where he made his low key declaration of his intention to run for president at a waste dumpsite, to face the challenge of getting a haircut from the town barber.

Delos Reyes also takes on USI's added challenge of taking his opposition campaign to the proposed Reproductive Health Bill to Olongapo City's red light district.

USI airs 5:30 pm every Sunday, starting March 14, on TV5.
