Ateneo Blue Eagles's team captain Jai Reyes is the Kapuso Network's new sports heartthrob. Watch for him this Sunday as the newest member of Manny Pacquiao's gym in Show Me Da Manny and on more Kapuso shows.
As part of its 60th anniversary celebration, GMA-7 has been introducing new faces in the entertainment industry. The latest among them is basketball hotshot Jai Reyes.
Jai Reyes, a former Ateneo Blue Eagles team captain, is now included in the roster of talents of GMA Artist Center. He is the newest member of Manny Pacquiao's gym in the Sunday night sitcom Show Me Da Manny.
Aside from Show Me Da Manny, Jai is also part of the morning show Unang Hirit where he was launched last summer as the newest sports buddy of the program's sports features.
Also, the 23-year-old cager had a brief hosting stint in Pinoy Records with his special segment called "Jai in Action." Plus, the basketball star had a hilarious guesting in Bubble Gang.
Prior to his TV stint, Jai has been playing competitive basketball for nearly his entire life. Small beginnings and a strong foundation through Milo programs at his transitional stages have led up to his UAAP career as both a champion and as team captain.
A graduate of BS Communications Technology Management at the Ateneo de Manila University, Jai has just finished playing for Philippine Basketball League (PBL) and is now in the doorstep into playing for Philippine Basketball Assosication (PBA). Jai will be included in the upcoming draft this Sunday.
Watch for Jai Reyes as he tries to conquer the hearts of Kapuso viewers and sports enthusiasts here and abroad.
