Piolo Pascual cried when he learned about the plot of his upcoming primetime series, Padre de Pamilya.

Piolo was quoted as saying in an interview aired on the September 25 episode of The Buzz, "Napaiyak ako nung sinabi sa amin ang twist ng story."

In an interview with TV Patrol, Jericho admitted, "Masaya ako na naging part ako ng konsepto na ito. Alam ng management team kung gaano namin gusto mag-work na kasama ni PJ [referring to Piolo]."

For his part, Piolo said, "It's a blessing to finally work with a brother. It's a privilege for us to be part of something so big, something na alam kang matutunan."

According to reporter Gretchen Fullido, Piolo's role in this new show will be a priest.

Piolo said about his role: "Natatakot ako kasi hindi birong mag-invest ka ng emotions mo sa isang proyekto, what more kung alam mong real."

Christopher de Leon is also looking forward to being part of this ABS-CBN shows. The veteran actor says that his experience as a board member in Batangas will help him to give character.

"Luckily, government official na ako. I hope I can do justice. It's an honor for me to work again with Piolo and Jericho," says Christopher.

Their co-stars in the project include Maricar Reyes, Denise Laurel, Rafael Rosell and Jeffrey Santos.
