Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales-starrer, Maria la del Barrio, will air finale episodes this week

After airing for over six months on ABS-CBN, Maria la del Barrio (starring Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee) will conclude this Friday, March 2, 2012.

ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida teleserye Maria la del Barrio once again became a worldwide trending topic in the popular microblogging site Twitter.

After ruling the ratings in its timeslot, Maria la del Barrio became a household name as viewers gave their all-out support since it started airing last August 2011. Fans and viewers alike are captivated on the twist and turns on the lives of its lead characters Maria (Erich Gonzales) and Luis (Enchong Dee)--from their unique friendship, timeless lovestory, painful breakup, until they were reunited in each other's arms once again.

The drama series was extended twice and was named as the 'Best Primetime Teleserye of 2011' by femalenetwork.com.

Aside from starring Erich and Enchong, the cast members of Maria la del Barrio include Angel Aquino, Assunta de Rossi, Ian Veneracion, Jewel Mische, and Aaron Villaflor.

Will Luis and Maria's family finally be whole? Or will Victoria (Angel) and Sabrina (Jewel) succeed in preventing it from happening?

Maria la del Barrio airs weeknights after Lumayo Ka Man sa Akin on ABS-CBN.

enchong at erich congratulations talagang napakaganda talaga ng maria la del barrio,parang totoong buhay,i miss u both and my support still no matter what.its a big help for us watching u her abroad its help to reduce our homesickness,hoping more blessing to both of you,love you both,

salamat sa inyong dalawa labis akong nasiyahan sa teleserye niyong dalawa,lalo na sa last part,umiyak ako ng umiyak,sobrang galing niyong dalawa at lalo akong napamahal ng tudo,sana my movies kayo o panibagong teleserye kz gusto ko hindi kayo magkahiwalay,mahal na mahal ko kayong dalawa.
