May nude pictorial na ginawa ang Korean Dance Diva na si Mina to ‘inspire' the Korean athletes of the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Ang FIFA ay ang Fédération Internationale de Football Association, isang international governing body of football (soccer).
Nasa Pilipinas ngayon si Mina, who is also known as the "The World Cup Girl." The model-turned-singer has already released three albums since 2002, including "Answer The Phone" na cover song ng kanyang 2005 album K.I.S.S. Ang "Answer The Phone" ang isa sa mga pinasikat na sayaw ni Mark Herras during his StarStruck days.
Answer The Phone din ang title ng two-night concert ni Mina na gaganapin sa bansa. Ang una ay gaganapin sa Araneta Coliseum on November 24 at ang ikalawa ay mangyayari sa Clark Field Expo, Pampanga on November 26. She will have Christian Bautista as her special guest during the concert that is produced by Myong Jak Entertainment and Live Artists Productions.
Ang World Cup ang nagpasikat kay Mina nang "ma-discover" siya ng mga photographer wearing just a bandana for a blouse and a Korean flag for a skirt. Believing she was a celebrity, her pictures were released all over the world as "The World Cup Girl." Mina capitalized on this fame by releasing her first album noong 2002, ang Rendezvous. Sinundan niya pa ito ng dalawang albums, ang Re:Turn 2 Mina (2004) and K.I.S.S. (2005).
To improve upon her sexy dance moves kung saan siya mas lalong nakilala ng Korean public, nag-train pa si Mina sa Europe ng belly dancing.
As her tribute naman sa 2006 FIFA World Cup—dahil sa football din naman nagsimula ang kaniyang career—bukod sa "Fly High" single na part ng K.I.S.S., nag-release din si Mina ng nude photo album para daw ma-inspire ang kanyang mga kababayang athletes.
