Iwas na iwas na ma-link sa isa't isa sina Sam Milby at Say Alonzo nang sabay silang dumating sa celebrity premiere ng Spider-Man 3 sa IMAX Theater ng Mall of Asia last Tuesday, May 1. Nagkita lang daw sila papasok and they came in separate cars.
"She's like my sister," sabi ni Sam.
"He's older than me, so he's my Kuya," sagot naman ni Say.
Samantala, kinuha ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ang reaksiyon ni Sam sa isyung hiwalayan ng ex-housemate niya sa Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Season 1 na si Franzen Fajardo at ng misis nitong si Love Joy.
"I didn't know about that. I haven't talked to him for, like, last year. But I want him to know that I'll always be here for him. If ever he needs my help, I'm here," pahayag ni Sam.
Ano naman ang masasabi ni Sam sa isa pa niyang ex-housemate na si Uma Khouny, na ngayon lang umamin na may asawa na pala?
"Nagpakasal, I heard about that," sabi niya. "Ang tagal na noon, e. When we were still inside the house, I've heard about that. I thought he already talked about that."
Samantala, kung si Luis Manzano ay sumuko na sa panliligaw kay Toni Gonzaga, hindi naman daw nababahala si Sam sa nababalitang closeness ng ka-loveteam niya sa bago nitong manliligaw na si Direk Paolo Soriano.
"I met him actually. Very, very nice guy," ani Sam tungkol kay Paolo, na anak ng direktor ding si Jeric Soriano at apo ng yumaong aktor na si Nestor de Villa.
Boto ba siya kay Direk Paolo for Toni?
"I think so. He seems to be a very nice guy and I think he will take good care of Toni," matipid niyang sagot.
Okay lang sa kanya na mapunta si Toni kay Direk Paolo?
"If he would make her happy and she will be happy, then I would be happy for her," ani Sam.
Does this mean na hindi na sila magtatambal ni Toni sa screen?
"Hindi ko alam," sagot niya. "Siyempre, if you look at John Lloyd [Cruz] and Bea [Alonzo] too, I mean, it's possible that she [Toni] will be paired with somebody else, same with me. We will do another movie together, although yung susunod [kong movie], hindi yata kami. Pero I'm sure we will do another movie together."
Right now, Sam is living in his new condo unit habang itinatayo pa ang bago niyang bahay located in the same subdivision ng first house na nabili niya last year at naibenta kamakailan lang. Binili ni Sam ang isang malaking bakanteng lote na may sukat na 300 sq.m. para pagpatayuan ng bago niyang bahay. Ito na raw ang katuparan ng dream house ni Sam. Plano rin niya na palagyan ng swimming pool ang bago niyang bahay.
Naibenta ni Sam ang dati niyang bahay sa halagang P6.5M, kasama na ang pinasadya niyang mga kasangkapan sa loob ng bahay. Worth P4.5M ang dating bahay ni Sam na may sukat na 119 sq.m. Sa ngayon, hindi pa raw alam ni Sam kung magkano aabutin ang ipinapatayo niyang bagong bahay.
This Sunday, after ASAP '07, babalik si Sam sa US, but not for a show. Magti-taping si Sam ng isang special episode para sa anniversary presentation ng Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK).
Kuwento ng magkapatid ang episode na gagawin ni Sam for MMK sa US to be directed by US-based director John D-Lazatin, na nagtatrabaho na ngayon sa TFC ng ABS-CBN. Gaganap bilang kapatid ni Sam ang US-based na rin na si Leandro Muñoz, plus ang ex-partner ni Ai-Ai delas Alas na si Miguel Vera, na dun na rin sa US nagtatrabaho.
Babalik agad si Sam ng Pilipinas Saturday morning, May 12. And then, magre-rehearse siya para sa production number niya for his birthday celebration sa ASAP ‘07 kinabukasan, May 13.
