StarStruck Batch 2 First Prince CJ Muere reportedly called up the GMA Artist Center, announcing his decision to quit show business.

Gusto niyang mag-full time student this coming school year. Dentistry ang kinukuhang kurso ni CJ.

Laguna's bet sa second edition ng StarStruck, lumaban nang husto ang kanyang backer nang ginawang fifty-fifty ang text votes and judges' vote, so much na kahit Avenger na siya, nang isinubok ang Wild Card sa StarStruck during the Final Six, si Benj Pacia ang nalaglag in his favor. Umabot hanggang First Prince si CJ to the Ultimate Male Survivor na si Mike Tan.

Even with a runner-up position, hindi masyadong umangat ang kanyang career kahit nabigyan siya ng mga high-profile roles—co-starring with the Final Four of his StarStruck batch na sina Mike, Ryza Cenon, and LJ Reyes sa first season ng Now and Forever, and even getting the sought-after role Ding to Angel Locsin's Darna.
