"Si Mommy na tanungin niyo doon kasi hindi kami magka-level," Ruffa Gutierrez quipped when The Buzz asked her to comment on Dolly Anne Carvajal's column about Ruffa's estranged husband, Yilmaz Bektas.
The feud started when the entertainment columnist wrote that a Turkish newspaper called Yilmaz Bektas a "drug smuggler's son."
Dolly Anne explained, "It's in the Turkish newspaper. Gusto ko lang iklaro, hindi ako ang may gawa nun. Kahit itanong nyo pa sa kahit sinong Turkish-speaking individual. Dapat siguro ‘yong newspaper sa Turkey ang balikan ni Ruffa, hindi ako dahil sila ang nagsulat nun."
She added that the Turkish article was e-mailed to her by one of her readers. The columnist, who said whe was a graduate of Linguistics, said she merely translated it.
ANNABELLE'S RETORT. The Buzz interviewed Ruffa's mother, Annabelle Rama, for her response to the column.
"Ikaw, Dolly Anne, tumahimik ka na, day, ha! Wag ka nang makisawsaw sa gulo. Reporter ka, siraan mo sarili mo at ang baho mo ang ilagay mo sa dyaryo! Wag mong pakialaman ang anak ko! Tumahimik ka na diyan!" Annabelle said on air.
She topped that with: "Bruhilda ka!"
