A radio serial-turned-movie starring the late Julie Vega in the '70s, Mga Mata ni Angelita, ay gagawing soap opera naman ngayon.

As first written here sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), makakasama ni Kristal sa Mga Mata ni Anghelita sina Marvin Agustin, Mark Herras, Paolo Contis, and Isabel Oli.

Also in the cast are Ms. Celia Rodriguez, Sheryl Cruz, Carmina Villarroel, Inah Asistio, Beth Tamayo, Jess Lapid Jr., Pen Medina, Tuesday Vargas, Ryan Yllana, at ang nagbabalik-Kapuso na si Tonton Gutierrez.

Si Benedict Mique ang head writer ng soap, his first. This will be directed by the original tandem of Bakekang na sina Gil Tejada and Khryss Adalia.

This Saturday, June 16, ang first taping day ng Mga Mata Ni Anghelita sa Sta. Rita, Pampanga. Ito ang papalit sa Asian Treasures nina Robin Padilla at Angel Locsin when it ends this month.
