"It was a very unpleasant experience kasi nag-collapse na ‘yong mga veins ko so they kept transferring the IV [intravenous] kasi I was severely dehydrated," says Dina Bonnevie about her hospitalization.

"‘Yan ang isang sagot na kailangan sagutin ng mga doktor ng Makati Medical Center," answered Dina Bonnevie when asked about her recent hospitalization last Saturday, July 7.
In a report that came out in PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Miss D was said to have been rushed to the hospital because of continuous vomitting.
She narrated: "Kasi, actually ang nangyari noon, we started taping Natutulog Ba ang Diyos? Thursday morning. Natapos kami Friday na ng alas-dose na ng noon. So okay naman.
"I was really really feeling weak, although that night, ang kinain ko lang was calamari [and] fried rice, tapos noong lunch na, kumain naman ako ng McDonald's.
"Then I went home na pero talagang sa sobrang sama ng pakiramdam ko, hindi na ako nakapunta ng taping ng U Can Dance. Nagpamasahe muna ako. I left my place ng mga eleven kasi magkikita kami ng mga kids, kasi Danica is leaving for France the next day. ‘Yon na, hindi na ako naka-attend [ng taping] kasi starting 2 o'clock, I didn't stop vomitting.
"Nung hindi ko na kaya and I was feeling so faint, ni-rush na ako sa hospital... Sabi nung ibang doctors baka you're over-fatigued, maybe you're overly stressed, hyper-active ‘yong stomach mo, blah, blah, blah. Sabi naman nung isa, it's acute gastroenteritis. Ewan ko, ‘yong dalawang doctor nag-aaway na. Sabi ko, ‘Ano ba talaga ang findings?'
"It was a very unpleasant experience kasi nag-collapse na ‘yong mga veins ko, so they kept transferring the IV [intravenous] kasi I was severely dehydrated. So sabi ng doktor ko, ‘Bakit ngayon ka lang pumunta? You're severely dehydrated!' Malay ko ba na dehydrated ako, no! I was trying to sleep [but] I kept waking up to vomit...
"Sabi ko [sa doctors], ‘I don't care just give me na lang medication and kung anong gagawin. I would rest na lang in my house.' Kasi I couldn't rest din naman kasi every minute may nagtse-check ng blood pressure, pinpakialamanan ang IV... Mamaya nag-backflow na ang IV... Sabi ko, ang gusto ko, gumaling, hindi ‘yong ang dugo ko ang umaakyat sa suwero. Four times na nangyari kaya I left...
"Sabi ng duktor, ‘We didn't tell you na you can leave. We haven't discharged you yet.' Sabi ko, ‘E, hindi kayo magkasundo. Ano ba talaga!'"
Dina's two children, Danica and Oyo Sotto, took care of her in the hospital.
"Nung na-hospital ako, inalagaan ako ni Danica, then the following day si Oyo nag-alaga. I don't know there's something about sons... Ang babae nagsisilbi. Ang lalaki andoon lang, but it's the way he comforts you and talks to you na parang nothing can happen inside this room. Kasi nga, bad trip na bad trip na ako sa mga duktor doon," ended Miss D.
