This is an unsolicited advise to Gretchen, it's about time that you fix your life and put everything in place. Start all over again by being a wife not a mistress, by having legitimate children and have parents-in-law who will accept you with an open arms. You deserve a much better life that is acceptable to society. Think deeply girl!!!

I sympathize with Meldy, as a mother who only wants the best for her son, she must be grieving and deeply hurt by her son's strong defiance to her wishes & requests. That defiance alienate them apart, so if i were Gretchen, I would initiate to bridge that gap by leaving Tonyboy and entrust Dominique to his care. With such noble act, her conscience is clear and she makes Meldy happy & have peace of mind while she's still alive. And that will make Gretchen great and admirable to those who hate her.

When you're in a relationship, Respect and trust should be the most important thing. If both parties are not together like say for instance out on a gathering or what. They should at least show some respect by being grown-ups. Geeeezzz! I have an elder brother and his woman made out(kissed)with some co-worker at her job. And did not even realize that there was a hidden camera installed at the facility. I found out and was so mad at her. Mother knows best but there are things that Mother can't give. Tonyboy is an adult already and his lovelife is not his mothers' business. A mother should give guidance and not being forceful to do things they want for their grown-up children. I'm sure most of you guys disobeyed your mothers too.

They are considerate of others because they have nothing to prove and they can afford to follow their heart's desires. Breeding is something else because even the less fortunate have breeding when propoerly brought up. Gretchen has none. She has also misbehaved. That is the reason she is not acceptable and not because she is poorer than them.

Lets give Gretchen a break...kahit ako, hindi ako agree sa nangyaring kisscandal nila ni John. Especially the guy is just John...and I will never take a reasoning na anybody can commit mistakes. if i were meldy cojuangco, i would say the same thing (leave gretchen). if i were tonyboy, i would do the same thing (keep my family together). and if i were gretchen, i would just forget myself and my own concerns, and just focus on my only daughter, and make sure she has a bright mind, a kind heart and good character. if dominique turns out to be an excellent young lady (like kc concepcion, who is so admirable despite her messy family background), walang masasabi ang kahit sino mang tao. in that sense, the tonyboy-gretchen union would have been worth all the pain and aggravation after all.

all the people involved here - tonyboy, gretchen, meldy, etc. - seem to be suffering from this complicated situation that has dragged on for years and years. the john estrada scandal was just the climax of it all. wouldn't it be nice if they could all just start over? everybody deserves another chance.

Any mother would not want Gretchen for a daughter in law for sure and pagtalunan is so right. A woman perceived as such will bring shame to the name. It does take 2 to tango, maybe TB is not that good a catch as others believe him to be. A man worth his salt could get someone much much better than Gretchen. Mrs Cojuangco is correct by all means to reject her. She would be insane to accept someone like that into the family.

Who knows, maybe Gretchen is as good as he can get. We do not know the things that lie behind the doors of their home. It might be Gretchen suffering all this while. to be faced every day with a man who cannot bring you to the altar and will not because power and money can surely make it possible. Every day she wakes up with the thought I am not worth marrying. Isn't that hell? So she makes it real, she is not worth marrying.

whatever faults greta has, tonyboy seems to love her very much and has accepted greta's faults. i admire him for this. not that many people will stand up for such convictions.
