"I don't wanna deny na numbers are important. But I'm not consumed, I'm
not obsessed by numbers. I am too secure in what I can do and what I
cannot do to worry about numbers," says Boy Abunda (in photo with co-host Kris Aquino) about the ratings.

Well, for lack of a better word, we're trying to evolve. We're trying to find new things to do," umpisang paliwanag ni Tito Boy nang makapanayam siya ng PEP last Tuesday afternoon, September 25, during a short break sa taping ng Boy & Kris.
"But you know, it's basically an effort to do something different.
Wala pa akong masyadong detalye, but it will start sometime October.
"Hindi naman pagbabago ito. It's introducing new portions. For lack of a better word, it's called reformat.
"Let's put it this way, we should be sensitive to other people's opinions. Hindi natin dapat ikaila ‘yon, lalo na if it makes sense.
"With humility, you should listen to the opinion of other people. Number two, you shouldn't just stop at where you are. You shouldn't just stop within your comfort zone.
"I think you should push the envelope, you should push yourself to the edge para hindi ka maluma, hindi ka ma-bore, para may bago. And you should always be excited to learn new tricks. Kaya bukas ako sa ganyan, e.
"Naalala n'yo ‘yung mga 'Ebidensiya' sa The Buzz? On the spot ‘yon. Eksperimento. Sometimes it's planned, sometimes it happens, di ba? Kasi, when you do what you do for a couple of years, you have to keep on reinventing. Instead of a reformat, it's bahagi ng reinvention. Kung kaya mo, gawin mo.
"Ako basically, mahalaga sa akin yung ganitong klase ng proseso dahil it excites me. Hindi yung ‘yon na lang nang ‘yon. But we can always go back to this.
"When you do a morning talk show, you're limited to certain options lang. So, iikot at iikot ka lang. Lalabas kami; sa susunod, sa studio naman. Hindi pa rin mawawala yung studio.
"You know, it is always an effort to make it more exciting. Will it work? With all humility, I don't know. Pero it should not stop us from trying," tuluy-tuloy na pahayag ng tinaguriang local TV's King of Talk.
Pag natatalo ka sa ratings, you look forward to the next show para maipanalo mo. Pag nananalo ka naman, you work even harder para ma-maintain mo, di ba?
"Pero no one I think can claim na, ‘Panalo ako habambuhay!' Hindi. It makes you work harder. That's the ball game.
"Pero ako, I don't wanna deny na numbers are important. But I'm not consumed, I'm not obsessed by numbers. I am too secure in what I can do and what I cannot do to worry about numbers.
"I have been blessed too much to complain. Alam ko ang aking kahinaan, alam ko ang aking strengths, for me to worry about numbers. That's why I think I've stayed in this business for so long," bulalas pa ng premyadong TV host.
