Pagkatapos niyang  magbida sa ZsaZsa Zaturnnah Ze Moveeh that won him an Urian best-actor award, Rustom Padilla now joins the burgeoning male cast of the newest GMA-7 soap opera La Vendetta. Last year, inamin ng aktor ang kanyang tunay na sexual preference sa Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition ng ABS-CBN.

Tatlo pa rin ang bidang babae sa La Vendetta—sina Sunshine Dizon, Jean Garcia, at Jennylyn Mercado bilang half-sisters—ngunit lumalaki ang male cast nito.

Bukod sa unang apat na pangalang nabanggit noon na sina Paolo Contis, Luis Alandy, Mark Herras, at Polo Ravales, kasama na rin sa cast sina Wendell Ramos, Dante Rivero, the new GMA Artist Center talent Joseph Marco (ang nakasama ni Angel Locsin noon sa isang shampoo commercial), at si Rustom nga.

Pero Thursday pa lang, October 4, mapapanood na si Rustom sa drama anthology na Magpakailanman. Rustom will play Armand Remojo, the recipient of Best Designer award of 2006 sa Lucena at ng Indak Ng Lahi Award na ginawa sa Cashman Theater sa Las Vegas Nevada.

La Vendetta will be Rustom's first soap since he returned from the United States. Makakasama na rin ni Rustom sa bakuran ng GMA-7 ang kanyang kapatid na si Robin Padilla, who will star in his second primetime series in the Kapuso Network—Joaquin Burdado.
