"Yun
[paparazzi photo], actually, alam na namin yun right after it was taken... Sabi niya [Dingdong], ‘Ay, may nakita akong nagpi-picture
So, alam na namin. Nagulat nga ako na ang tagal-tagal kasi
kelan pa yun, December pa yun, e," says Karylle about the paparazzi photo (inset) of boyfriend Dingdong Dantes with another girl.

Despite his very busy schedule, Marimar leading man Dingdong Dantes still had time to watch his girlfriend Karylle's pre-Valentine's day concert titled Souls In Love last night, February 13, at the Teatrino in Promenade, Greenhills, San Juan City.
Dingdong, who came with his younger sister, was very impressed with the performance of his girlfriend. He said, "Siya, sobrang confident, sobrang galing. Feel na feel niya ang confidence at saka walang sablay!"
The hunky actor also praised the other performers that night, Jay-R and Kris Lawrence. "Siguro kaya mas napaganda yung show kasi may interaction hindi lang sa istorya nung show. At the same time, mga paborito talagang kanta niya [Karylle] ang kinanta niya. Feel na feel niya at saka in-enjoy niya talaga yung performance niya for the night."
After the concert, Dindong waited for his girlfriend to come out from the backstage. He said that he and Karylle would have a pre-Valentine dinner date since he would be working today, February 14, for Marimar.
"Ito na siguro ang pinaka-symbolic na pagsasama namin," said Dingdong. "Nandito ako to support her concert. We don't really celebrate this day, e, kaya parang okay lang.
"It's not really special, pero okay lang kasi ayaw naming makisabay sa trapik sa kung saan-saang masisikip na establishments, di ba? So, we celebrate it on our own. Kung kelan kami puwede pareho, kung kelan convenient para sa amin, doon kami."
Although they do not have specific plan for Valentine's Day, Karylle said that she and Dingdong have planned out something on Sunday, February 17, with her family. She said, "Magdi-dinner na lang kami ngayon. Actually, we planned out something for Sunday night with the family, ganun na lang para mas masaya."
PAPARAZZI PHOTO. Dingdong's presence last night at the concert served as a proof that his relationship with Karylle is still strong despite the negative issues thrown at them. The most recent was the paparazzi photo of Dingdong with a girl in Boracay, who turned out to be his cousin.
The actor had explained earlier that the unidentified girl was his cousin. In an article of PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Dingdong detailed to StarTalk, "Ito po yung nasa Boracay kami. Nagbakasyon po kami after Christmas at before mag-New Year. Siguro nagtatanong sila kung sino yung kasama ko diyan, e, pinsan ko po iyan. Yung trip po namin diyan was a family trip and kasama ko yung mga kapatid ko and all my cousins. In fact, si Karylle kasama ko rin during that trip."
Last night, Dingdong reiterated to PEP and GMA News, "Sobrang laking pagkakamali lang talaga yun. The girl in the photo is my cousin, so hindi dapat mabigyan ng malice yun at saka first cousin pa. So nagkataon lang talaga na, you know, were having a family reunion there and nakita kaming nag-uusap na na-picture-an, so yun ang kinalabasan."
In a separate interview, Karylle corroborated her boyfriend's explanation. She said, "Yun [paparazzi photo], actually, alam na namin yun right after it was taken kasi sumaglit lang ako sa room, e, nagpalit lang ako. 'Tapos pagbalik ko sabi niya, ‘Ay, may nakita akong nagpi-picture sa amin ng cousin ko.' 'Tapos sabi ko, ‘Naku, hintayin na lang natin, lalabas 'yang picture.' So, alam na namin. Nagulat nga ako na ang tagal-tagal kasi kelan pa yun, December pa yun, e."
STRONGER RELATIONSHIP. The couple seems to be unbreakable in spite of all the intrigues that come out about them, especially Dingdong. What is their secret for having this strong relationship?
We're open to each other every small detail so kapag nagkakaroon ng konting problema we work things out."
Karylle also said the same thing when GMA News and PEP cornered her after the concert.
She explained, "Minsan we try to be quiet about things kasi mahirap yung parati kang nagpapa-interview. So, as much as possible, we try not talk too much about what's happening, pero I guess yung communication...
"Kunwari may tsismis, yung Chika Minute ayan na, tapos tatawagan ko siya, ‘Ano to?' Blah, blah, blah. Pero yung relax lang muna kasi parang, di ba, don't be too quick to judge? So, parating parang get it straight from the source, ganun talaga kami. 'Tapos kapag may ganun [intriga], pag-uusapan na namin, parang, ‘Ikaw talaga! Kasi hindi ka nag-iingat tuloy may mga ganyan-ganyan.'"
And to people who keep on bugging their relationship, Dingdong left them this message: "Mas maganda nga yung may nagkukuwestiyon para mas ma-challenge kami lalo na, you know, to stand up for what the truth is, kung ano talaga yung totoo, di ba? Wala namang problema, okay naman lahat, e."
