"I've known Mark longer, but I know Will better," says Riza Santos about Will Devaughn and Mark Bautista. Both men are being linked to her. "I've known Mark since my Canada days. We had a chance to be friends since then." Will on the other hand, was her housemate during her PBB Celebrity Edition 2 days. Riza also denies being courted by Dobol Trobol co-star Vic Sotto.

"Just being in the movie with Dolphy and Vic Sotto is already a very huge honor for me, that's why I am still ecstatic even if they say I am only a second choice," walang gatol na pahayag ni Riza Santos sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) tungkol sa isyung panakip-butas lang siya sa role na tinanggihan ni Marian Rivera sa pelikulang Dobol Trobol kung saan bida sina Vic at Dolphy.

"Bossing Vic is very supportive, he makes me feel at ease. He tells me the right pronunciation of the Tagalog words I am supposed to deliver in a scene. He doesn't look annoyed when I make mistakes, instead, he laughs it off para ‘di ako mapahiya," lahad pa ni Riza.

"Dolphy is so tahimik, but he shows he supports me a lot."

BOSSING'S NEW GIRL?

"Nothing, it's just in the scenes we do. Wala po, wala pong ganoon. He is a gentleman. I like him," halong garil na Tagalog at English na sagot nito sa amin.

"Whenever I have the time, I try to study how [to speak proper Tagalog].

"I know it is very limiting, like I always play a balik-bayan in all the movies I make. Of course, I would like to do other roles, too."

RELIGION VS. SHOWBIZ.

"I also took up a medical course but I stopped two years ago. I plan to go back to school because I still believe that a college education is the best fallback. If I don't make it [big] in show business," sabi pa niya.

"Nope, this is pure work. My religious upbringing has nothing to do here. May father trusts me so much, that he doesn't meddle with my showbiz affairs," paliwanag pa ni Riza.
