Nagmamadaling umalis si Dr. Vicki Belo nang makausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kahapon, May 19, sa Dolce bar, Quezon City.
Ito'y pagkatapos ng Q&A portion sa grand launch ng additional celebrity endorser ng Belo Essentials na si Sarah Geronimo at ang bagong version ng TV commercial na dinirek ni Quark Henares, anak ni Dr. Vicki. Papunta kasi siya sa birthday party ng kanyang boyfriend na si Dr. Hayden Kho, na nag-aartista na rin.
"Yeah, tomorrow [May 20] is his birthday. I have to rush nga, e," bungad ni Dr. Vicki.
Ano ang birthday wish niya for Hayden?
"Well, I wish him a lot of luck on his new career. Kasi we finally made a decision. Pinag-usapan namin ‘to for one month. Magso-showbiz ba siya? Kasi laging tinatawag siya. ‘Tapos lagi namang...medicine, you know. So, nakikita ko medyo nalilito na siya.
"Sa Singapore may mga offer pa. Sabi ko, ‘Alam mo, Hayden, bata ka pa naman. Do it na. Kailan mo pa gagawin ‘to, ‘di ba? At least, parang two years try it out. Click-click. Kung hindi, doctor ka naman. Wala namang mawawala.'
"So, I hope he will achieve things and I hope...kasi ang gusto lang ni Hayden, like me, similar, we want to use whatever talent we have to the full extent. Habang nandiyan, ‘di ba?"
NOT WORRIED. May blessing si Dr. Vicki sa pagpasok ni Hayden sa show business. Pero hindi ba siya nagwo-worry na i-link si Hayden sa ibang babae sa showbiz?
"Alam ko, alam ko," nakangiting sabi ni Dr. Vicki. "So far, hindi [pa nag-aalala]. Kasi napakabait niya talaga. Sobrang...tatawag ‘yan ten times a day. He gives me flowers. Nagre-report siya kung saan na siya. He makes me very secure.
"Pero as a person talaga... I'm not an insecure person. So, I'm surprised na napaka-secure ko sa kanya. Kahit nga may blind items tawa ako nang tawa. Basta tatawa lang ako."
HAYDEN AND KATRINA. Pero hindi pa man napapanood si Hayden na umaarte sa telebisyon ay inili-link na siya ngayon kay Katrina Halili.
"E, that's part of it naman [ng pagiging artista], especially, I know Katrina so well. She's our baby. Nung dinicide namin siguro mga last year, aliw na aliw kami kay Katrina kasi she makes her own career, e, ‘di ba?"
May tsismis din na nagpupunta sa condo ni Hayden si Katrina.
"What? Hindi, ah. Wala siyang sinabi. Sa clinic pumupunta siya [Katrina] palagi. Si Katrina kasi, yung clinic niya sa Morato. Si Hayden din, clinic niya sa Morato. So, nagkikita sila."
MOVIE FOR HAYDEN? Meron ba siyang plano na mag-produce ng pelikula para kay Hayden?
"Hindi ko ginagawa for my children, so, I'm sure...kasi feeling ko naman, you know, you give them the talent and they just have to apply. Kapag ikaw pa ang magpo-produce, sabi ko nga sa kanya [Hayden], kay Quark, dati nung gusto niyang maging direktor, sabi ko, ‘Quark, hindi ako si Armida Sigeon-Reyna. Hindi ako makakapag-produce ng movie mo.' It's good na nahanap naman niya [producer for Quark].
"Ganun din kay Hayden, kung it comes to the point na kailangang ako na ang mag-produce para lang may...parang huwag na lang din. It means hindi siya type ng mga tao."
GIFT TO HAYDEN. Ano ang birthday gift niya kay Hayden?
"Well, tonight, I have to go nga, e. Kasi surprise ang aking birthday gift sa kanya.
"Ay, naku, ang hiningi niya, ang corny niya. Playstation. Yung Playstation na kapag nasa eroplano, kasi lagi kaming nagbibiyahe. Pero hiningi niya na sumayaw ako for him tonight."
