Dyesebel's executive producer, director, and lead actor defended young actress Marian Rivera about the YouTube video showing her confronting an unidentified man on the set of GMA-7's fantaserye Dyesebel.
In a taped interview with Showbiz Central aired yesterday, May 25, Marian explained how that incident started. She said that she teased a guy who was taking a video on the set, which was prohibited during their taping for Dyesebel. (Click here to read related article)
While this was happening, said director Joyce Bernal in a separate interview, "'Yong instinct ko is ilayo si Marian."
Even yung mga crew namin at staff, they strictly follow that rule.
Then, she defended Marian by saying, "I think 'yong ginawa naman ni Marian is to defend herself."
In a separate interview, Marian's leading man Dingdong Dantes said that the incident should not be used against Marian. Itong insidente naman na ito, pagpapakita lamang na, alam mo 'yon, that Marian is also a human. She has feelings, nasasaktan siya.
Despite the continued dissemination of the video, Marian stood firm that she won't let anyone humiliate her.
She also thanked the people who stayed by her side despite the flak she got because of the video.
Lastly, she reminded the public that she won't be afraid of anyone.
