JC de Vera and Rhian Ramos get a new partner for their next GMA-7 project: each other.
Ipinakita na ang teaser trailer ng lima sa mga pinakabagong shows ng GMA-7 as part of its 58th anniversary presentation; Regine Velasquez and Mark Anthony Fernandez's Ako Si Kim Sam Soon, na ipapalit sa Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita; Richard Gutierrez and Heart Evangelista's Codename: Asero, na ipapalit naman sa Joaquin Bordado; Paolo Bediones' Survivor Philippines; Dennis Trillo's Gagambino; and Rhian's La Lola.
La Lola is the local remake of an Argentine soap about a womanizer who was turned into a woman.
Sa teaser, si Rhian lang ang ipinapakita and a male talent who became her.
During the set visit of Regal Entertainment and GMA Films' My Monster Mom last Tuesday afternoon, June 3, sa Quezon City, nandoon si JC who is part of the movie playing one of Annabelle Rama's sons. The young actor confirmed that he will be part of La Lola.
Hindi pa lang din alam ni JC kung siya ba ang lalaki na magiging babae, or siya ang magiging leading man ni Rhian.
Kinagabihan, si Rhian naman ang nakita namin during the launch of the POP! Nostalgia photo exhibit ni Jay Tablante using some of the GMA Artist Center as subjects. The exhibit was done in one of the fourth floor studios at SM Megamall.
Alam na rin ni Rhian na si JC ang makakasama niya. But just like JC, hindi siya sigurado kung siya ba ang alter-ego or ang partner.
JC has a regular partner, si Yasmien Kurdi. They are in the homestretch of their third GMA-7 show together, ang Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita, after their two Sine Novela na Pati Ba Pintig Ng Puso and Pasan Ko ang Daigdig.
Rhian was first introduced as Richard Gutierrez's leading lady in two primetime soaps—Captain Barbell and Lupin—but was recently paired with Mark Herras first in the Sine Novela My Only Love and then in the upcoming GMA Films movie I.T.A.L.Y. (I Trust And Love You).
Interestingly, unang magsasama sina JC at Rhian sa My Monster Mom and they will play "mother and son." Si Rhian kasi ang gaganap na batang Annabelle in the flashback scene of the Joey Reyes-written-and-directed movie. As mentioned earlier, si JC ang isa sa magiging anak ni Annabelle.
