TV Ratings (June 30): "Ako Si Kim Samsoon" takes a big bite in the ratings game

The newest addition in the Telebabad block of GMA-7, Ako Si Kim Samsoon, premiered last night (June 30) with a respectable 33.8 percent rating; which is good enough to take the third spot in the overall race.
Ako Si Kim Samsoon, topbilled by Regine Velasquez and Mark Anthony Fernandez, replaced the heavy drama Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita. The Pinoy version of this hit Koreanovela went head-to-head with another Koreanovela turned into Pinoy series, ABS-CBN's My Girl. The Kim Chiu-Gerald Anderson starrer posted a rating of 22.6 percent to take the No. 8 position.
Even with the arrival of Ako Si Kim Samsoon, Dyesebel remained on top with 43.7 percent rating; followed by Joaquin Bordado with 35.3 percent.
Completing the Top 5 are 24 Oras (29.9 percent) and The Singing Bee (25.3 percent).
The Kapamilya network also had a new show which premiered last night, the Japanese series Artificial Beauty which got 13.1 percent. It replaced the Koreanovela Lovers, which ended last Thursday, June 26.
In the daytime race, Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan held on to the No. 1 spot with 21.9 percent; closely followed by another GMA-7 Sine Novela, Magdusa Ka, with 21.7 percent.
Occupying the rest of the Top 5 are Eat Bulaga!, Daisy Siete, and the Mexicanovela El Cuerpo del Deseo.
