Walang problema kay Lucy Torres sakaling gumawa ulit ng pelikula ang mister niyang si Richard Gomez, kasama ang Megastar na si Sharon Cuneta. Bukod sa hindi tututol si Lucy sa ideang ito, halatang siya mismo ay kinikilig sa posibilidad na magtambal muli ang dalawa.
"I always tell Richard that if he has to... I've heard of it although there's no formal offer yet. I don't know with Richard, but I miss their love stories which we saw a lot of in the ‘90s, when movies were being produced every month.
"And I really wish that time could come na bumalik muli yung buhay na buhay ‘yung film industry...because now it's just the TV, e. And the quality of the film is really different.
"I would love to see him in a movie with Sharon because they have good chemistry also. And I'd love to see him in a movie with Dawn [Zulueta], kasi may magic sila talaga, e. I told him... Kasi the last movie he had with Dawn is Pilipinas, and I think they were siblings pa," nakangiting pahayag ni Lucy sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa ginanap na presscon ng Appebon Kid kanina, July 17, sa Annabel's restaurant, Tomas Morato Ave., Quezon City.
Hindi kaya siya magselos kung may kissing scene o intimate love scene ang mister niya kay Sharon, na dati ring girlfriend ni Goma?
"No... I'm not, kinikilig pa nga ako," maagap niyang sagot. "Kasi maybe because I'm really a movie fan. When I met Richard or even when I started to have a crush on him, he was already in showbiz and doing movies like this. I think it's the magic of movies that really drew me to him, e.
"And as far as he's profession is concerned, it's really not an issue with me if he has to do kissing scenes or love scenes. Because, what is a love story without you know, locking lips? Kayo ba gusto n'yo bang manood ng love story nang hindi man lang nagyakapan?" natatawang sagot pa ni Lucy.
Sino naman kaya kina Sharon o Dawn ang mas gusto niyang gumawa ng pelikula si Richard?
"I can't choose, because if you go back... Look out the history, the movies they did were all great love stories. Napanood ko lang yun sa cable, the one with Sharon, yung Minsan Minahal Kita, I love that movie. And whenever I able to catch naman yung Hihintayin Kita Sa Langit, yung iniikot-ikot niya si Dawn sa bukid, naiinggit talaga ako! I remember, I used to say na sana ako yung iniiikot-ikot sa bukid with matching sunset!" natatawang saad ng host ng The Sweet Life sa QTV-11.
Hindi pa ba siya naiikot ni Chard sa bukid?
"Wala pa, e. Wala pang bukid!" nakatawang sambit niya. "Yun siguro ang hindi ko maa-achieve at kung ma-achieve ko man ‘yon, hindi siya maka-capture on film kasi hindi ako artista, e. Parang may sunset...may bukid...inikot!"
Sakaling may offer, payag ba siyang gumawa sila ng movie ni Richard?
"Kami ni Richard? Huwag na, grabe! Hindi talaga ako marunong umarte. Tatawa lang talaga ako nang tatawa. Hindi ako makakaiyak."
Pero di ba't nagkaroon sila ng sitcom before, yung Richard Loves Lucy sa ABS-CBN?
"Yeah, but that was ano... When I accepted that sitcom, sinabi ko talaga na don't make me act, ha. Hindi ako puwedeng umiyak kasi hindi naman ako iyakin. That's why I really have great respect with actors. Kasi, paano sila nakakaiyak kung sobrang tuwang-tuwa sila?
"Before they take the scene, kunwari in real life, they're really, really happy about something and they go to a set and you have to do a heavy scene na iyakan. How do you turn off that happiness? I can't do that, so huwag na nating subukan," tatawa-tawang paliwanag ni Lucy.
