Natuloy na rin ngayong tanghali, August 22, ang story conference ng pinakabagong primetime series ng GMA-7, base sa komiks character ni Carlo J. Caparas, ang Gagambino. Ito ang papalit sa Mars Ravelo fantaserye na Dyesebel nina Marian Rivera at Dingdong Dantes this October.
To be directed by Topel Lee and Don Michael Perez, Gagambino is a story of a group of superheroes with insect powers; think of it as a local Justice League in the animal world.
Title role si Dennis Trillo bilang si Gagambino at dalawa ang makaka-partner niya rito—ang leading ladies niya sa mga Sine Novela niyang Kung Mahawi Man Ang Ulap na si Nadine Samonte and the current Magdusa Ka na si Katrina Halili.
Playing lead villains are Jean Garcia na ina ni Nadine at si Polo Ravales na main nemesis ni Dennis.
Adding star power is Raymart Santiago, who, like Katrina, was not around during the story conference.
Sa mga young stars naman, kasama sina Jennica Garcia, Mart Escudero, Glaiza de Castro, at si Isabel Oli.
Join din sa already big cast sina Glydel Mercado, Benjie Paras, Krissa Mae of Gobingo, and si Leo Martinez.
Gagambino is set to start taping end of August.
