With only a few days remaining before August 30, fans of the legendary 90's band Eraserheads are now scampering to purchase tickets for the much anticipated rock n' roll happening, which will be held at the Bonifacio City Open Grounds in Taguig City.

The one-night only reunion concert was initiated by Philip Morris, but legal issues consumed much of the giant tobacco firm's energy and attention. It was forced to entrust the project to another party as the slated date of the event loomed. That third party turned out to be Radiohead Media Solutions, Inc., in cooperation with the Eraserheads former home label, Sony BMG Music Entertainment.

In an e-mail message received by PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last night, August 27, Radiohead Media Solutions proudly announced its ownership of the big event, while revealing ticket prices ranging from P800.00 to P1, 300.00. Tickets will be available at all Ticketworld outlets.

Gates of the massive open-air venue will open as early as 3:00 p.m.

The details of the concert as relayed by its new promoter reads:

"What: Eraserheads Reunion Concert

When: August 30, 2008 (Saturday)

Tickets are available at Ticketworld (891-9999) starting August 28, 2008 (Thursday)

Patron: Php 1, 300++.00

General Admission: Php 800++.00

Brought to you by Radiohead Media Inc. in cooperation with Sony BMG Music Entertainment Phil. Inc."

this is weird... this e-heads reunion is supposed to be the event of the year... pero ba't ganun, parang malabo..they don't even grant interviews... sinong media partner ng show.... may promo ba on tv or radio.. are they even rehearsing?

Let's see if this concert's doing well. Palampasin natin ng Sabado, then the one who thinks it's a flop may cast a stone unto the Fab 4. Weee!!

The Ticketworld website had been bogged down.

Mas mahaba ang pila for tickets to E-heads Concert kesa sa pila ng For the First time.

I don't think na magkakaroon ng repeat, to think that they are successful na on their own. Whatever their reason para magkaroon ng reunion, it's not our business. If you wanna watch, fine! If you don't, d naman kami mamimilit eh.

My deepest sympathies to Ely and his family. But I do hope he's professional enough to push through with the concert.

1) nagregister sila dati sa redlist pero napurnada

2) walang perang pambili ng ticket or

3) for any reason whatsoever, d sila makakapanood at magmumukmok sa kung saang lugar, wondering na sana kasama sila sa saya ng e-heads!!

I pity for you, people! hahahha!! :D

Unconfirmed reports have it that Ely's mom passed away today due to cardiac arrest after undergoing surgery.

Condolences to Ely!

I dont believe that tickets are doing well! Masa market ne eheads. Pag libre im sure puno! Pero 1300 and 800 pesos ang tickets? Nananaginip mga eto!

hay naku kahit 5t pa ang ticket buy ako nyan... very rare yung ganyan na mapagsama sama mo ulit ang Eheads members, considering the fact na very vocal sila dati that a reunion wont be possible dahil sa mga differences nila.. i have been an eraserheads fans for a very long time.. ive always been to their concert for as long as kaya kong puntahan... love this band so much.. unfortunately di ako makakanood, heheheeh laki tyan ko eh.. baka mapaaanak ako ng maaga.. basta im sure this is going to be one hell of an event!

...and my opinion...tikcet sales have been fast due to the fact that it was announced at "1 night only". So for die hard Eheads, the availability of the tickets are limited. I agree with #6, ones the promoter sees the demand, they will book some more shows to hoard it in. I have worked for a promoter before and this strategy is nothing new. It's called testing the market...

ticket sales does not mean squat. If it is not done right, it will still be a flop. Look at the recent Neil Diamond concert. It was so bad they started giving refunds...So a successful concert is not based on ticket sales.

anong flop?! as of this morning out of 1700 tickets for selling(patron area) 1000 na lang ang available. considering na 6pm lang kagabi nag start ibenta ang tiket huh.
ako swerte, nakakuha ako ng free invite from marcus adoro. yipee!

i bet you the concert will be a FLOP. Sound system will be messed up, crowd control will be non existent, and the weather will not cooperate...nakita ko sa baraha ni KHU BLY Kan kanina...

di yan One night only..Im sure may kasunod pa yan..sasabihin maraming nag re request ng repeat.

di ko papanoorin yan..ayaw ko na manood sa The Fort...unang una di pantay yung sahig..bwahahaha!
tapos kahit malapit ka ang liit pa rin ng performers and hindi kita masyado.

manonood ako kapag sa ARANETA Colisuem
kahit sa taas ka malakas ang tunog at kitang kita ang performers
