Roxanne Barcelo says she turned down offers for her to go sexy because she feels it is not for her.

NOT FOR SEXY. "That time kasi, ang offer sa akin puro sexy roles.

"I guess hindi talaga yun for me.

Baka naman may nagbabawal sa kanya to accept sexy or mature roles?

"Wala naman. Actually sa parents ko [they] are open to it, they trust my decision. Siguro ako mismo, I'm not comfortable na maggano'n-gano'n.

"I haven't done a really sexy...kumbaga, naka-two-piece, I haven't done that. I've done siguro mga artsy, for films.

"Naku, wala muna!" mabilis niyang sagot.

"It's a partnership between GMA News and Public Affairs saka CDO. Very wholesome yung show at maganda ang ini-impart niyang values," saad niya.

Sabi ko, it's not really pabagets. Although ang tawag sa akin, parang ‘Ate,' parang pre-school teacher do'n sa show."

Sa bago niyang show, mas maipapakita raw niya ang totoong Roxanne Barcelo.

Masayang kuwento pa niya, "In fairness, talagang parang hindi ko napi-feel na I'm acting, as in literal na yun na ‘yon. Actually, I have so many friends who were saying...like Paolo Bediones, I saw him sa church last Sunday, sabi niya sa akin, ‘Uy, bagay na bagay sa ‘yo yung role mo.' Nung una natatawa talaga ako.

"Unlike nun sa PBB na gusto kong maging woman and matured. But I guess I've learned na talaga to embrace the child in me. Pero whatever happened in the past, let's leave it at there and live in the now. Ang saya mabuhay, and I want to share that with a lot of people, especially [with] kids."

CREDIBILITY AND SHARING.

"I stepped back and really looked at my life. Two months ago, I was in my room. I had no work talaga. And as a fresh graduate, I asked myself, ‘What am I gonna do with my life? What's next?' I really came to a point that I would like to do something that is part of my purpose. Something that I won't get tired of doing. Something na will help other people. Something na will educate other people. I realized na at that time, my prayer was to reach out to kids.

"Even though they're difficult to please, they're really close to my heart. It's not something that I forced. I mean, ‘Ate' talaga ako, e. I was born eight years older than my younger brother who is now 14 years old. And at that time, Ate talaga ang role ko. And I have a good childhood. I have a really happy childhood and that's something I wanna share with other kids.

"Siyempre, not everyone is privileged to go to school. Pero through this show it's a tool for everyone to learn the basics—kung pa'no makipaglaro sa ibang bata, kung paano mag-share. And this is not me. I'm just a tool. This is a group effort at puwede silang magtiwala na this show is not just gawa-gawa lang.

"Everyone has one vision.
