Almost three decades since its first screening, Himala—Director Ishmael Bernal's film about a simple barrio lass (played by Nora Aunor) who claimed she saw and talked with the Virgin Mary—wins another award. This time, from online voters around the world who voted it as the Best Asia-Pacific Film of All Time through CNN-APSA (Asia-Pacific Screen Awards)'s online voting. Above, a scene from Himala.

Anupa't sa patuloy na pagkakaroon ng animo "himala" sa kanyang buhay at career, malayo ngang maituring na ang buhay at panahon ni Nora ay mauuwi lamang sa totoong trahedya.

 

Ang totoo, base sa isang interview kay Nora Aunor na naka-post ngayon sa YouTube, matapat si Nora sa sarili sa sinabing, "Ang lahat ng mga pagkakamali ko sa buhay ay nagsisilbing aral sa akin..."
