GMA-7's newest primetime series, All About Eve, had its premiere last night, March 9.

Based on the overnight ratings conducted by both AGB Nielsen and Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS), All About Eve had a modest pilot episode. The Pinoy adaptation of the hit Koreanovela starring Sunshine Dizon and Iza Calzado scored 26.1 percent in AGB's survey among Mega Manila households, tying with TV Patrol World for sixth place. In the TNS survey among national households, All About Eve got 20.5 percent to grab ninth place.

MEGA MANILA. Totoy Bato topped the primetime race in Mega Manila with 34.8 percent, followed by 24 Oras with 31.2 percent. Both are from the Kapuso network.

In an interesting development, three ABS-CBN programs made it to the Top 5, posting a rating of 30-plus. These are I Love Betty La Fea, which took the third spot with 31 percent; May Bukas Pa in fourth place with 30.8 percent; and Tayong Dalawa (tie with Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang) in fifth place with 30.6 percent.

The rest of the Top 10 was occupied by SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon (21.3 percent), Fated To Love You (20.1 percent), Family Feud (20 percent), and Ripley's Believe It Or Not (14.5 percent).

The daytime race was ruled by Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin? with 23.7 percent. Eat Bulaga! and Paano Ba ang Mangarap? tied for second place with an identical 23.2 percent rating.

Coming in third place was Daisy Siete (20 percent); followed by Wowowee (19.1 percent) and Pilipinas, Game KNB? (14.8 percent) to complete the Top 5.

NATIONAL. ABS-CBN family drama May Bukas Pa obtained its highest rating so far, 41.8 percent, based on the national TV ratings of TNS. Second-placer I Love Betty La Fea also scored its highest rating to date with 40.1 percent.

Tayong Dalawa came in third with 36.5 percent; followed by TV Patrol World (34.1 percent) and Totoy Bato (27.4 percent).

The rest of the Top 10 were occupied by the following shows: 24 Oras, Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang, SNN, All About Eve, and Kapamilya, Dear Or No Deal.

Wowowee regained the No. 1 spot in the daytime race with 22.2 percent.

GMA-7 Sine Novelas Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin? and Paano Ba ang Mangarap? took the third and fourth spots, respectively, with 19.8 percent and 19.4 percent.
