Ngayong taon ay gaganapin ang 25th Star Awards for Movies 2009. Ipinagdiriwang ang silver anniversary ng taunang parangal na ito para sa natatanging achievements sa local filmmaking, na itinataguyod ng samahan ng mga mamamahayag pang-aliwan, ang Philippine Movie Press Club o ang PMPC.
Ang 25th Star Awards for Movies 2009 ay gaganapin sa Mayo 28, Huwebes; magsisimula ang programa sa ganap na ika-7 ng gabi, sa Henry Lee Irwin Theater ng Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU), Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
Ang TV airing ay mapapanood sa Mayo 31 ganap na ika-10:30 ng gabi. Isasahimpapawid ito ng ABS-CBN.
Ang 25th Star Awards for Movies ay mula sa produksiyon ng FLT Productions, Inc. nina Mrs. Rose Flaminiano at (co-producer) Ms. Christina Kitts.
