Dumating na sa Pilipinas ang American Idol 7 winner na si David Cook at ang kanyang runner-up na si David Archuleta kaninang hapon, May 12, sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1. Pero hindi sabay na dumating ang dalawang American Idol sensations dahil nauna ng dalawang oras si Cook kesa kay Archuleta; bandang ala-una dumating ang AI Season 7 winner at bandang alas-tres naman dumating ang runner-up niya.
Narito sa Pilipinas ngayon ang dalawang Davids dahil sa concert nila na pinamagatang David Cook & David Archuleta: Live in Manila, sa May 16, Saturday, sa SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.
Inaasahang magkakaroon ng isang malaking presscon para sa dalawa sa May 14, Thursday, upang i-promote ang kanilang concert. Nakatakda ring mag-guest ang dalawang Davids sa morning show na SiS at noontime show na Eat Bulaga! sa Huwebes din.
Parehong umani ng kasikatan sina David Cook at David Archuleta pagkatapos nilang sumali sa American Idol. Pareho na rin silang may kanya-kanyang self-titled album.
Ito ang kauna-unahang pagkakataon na magkakasama ang dalawang Davids sa isang back-to-back concert.
