WHO PAYS LEGAL FEES? Itinanggi rin ni Atty. Kapunan ang usap-usapan na si Dra. Vicki Belo—ang tanyag na cosmetic surgeon at sinasabing kasintahan ni Hayden—ang siyang nagbabayad ng legal fees ni Hayden.

"It is a lie," sagot ni Atty. Kapunan. "And Hayden himself had said that Vicki has nothing to do with his case and we are his lawyers. Vicki in fact has her own lawyers."

Umiwas naman si Atty. Kapunan na magbigay ng komento sa balitang nakikita daw diumano si Hayden sa condominium unit ni Dra. Belo sa may Bonifacio Global City. May usap-usapan na doon sa condo unit tumutuloy si Hayden para magpalamig habang mainit pa ang iskandalong kinasasangkutan niya. Sinabi lang ng abugada na, "All I can say is he needs space and quiet to think."

CRITICS AND POLITICIANS. May mensahe naman ang abogado ni Hayden sa mga bumabatikos sa kanyang kliyente at sa ilang personalidad na sumali na sa usapin.

"The point about pornography, I think, is we're all guilty. I think we're all missing the truth, and the reason why there is a pornography law. It's really protection against exploitation, and I'm saying exploitation is not gender related. So when they're saying na kawawa naman the woman, we are also forgetting that Hayden here, too, was exploited. He's also exploited.

"And when the media feeds from it and has this story from morning, night, merienda for the morning and merienda for the evening, then the media is also guilty of exploitation. And legislators who view this as a window of opportunity for grandstanding or legislating in aid of elections should also remind themselves that, "Hey, there is grandstanding there." All they have to do is legislate and that is why some behavior, such as [that of] Hayden Kho, is happening because there is no law."
