Sa pamamagitan lang ng ilang footages sa telebisyon nakikita ni Patrick Garcia ang kanyang anak kay Jennylyn Mercado na si Alex Jazz. Hindi pa raw niya nakikita nang personal ang anak.
Sa panayam ng Showbiz Central kay Patrick noong Linggo, September 20, tinanong siya kung ano ang masasabi niya sa anak niya.
"Nakita ko na, pogi siyempre!" nakangiting pahayag ni Patrick.
Hindi man niya personal na nakita ang anak, masaya na rin daw siya nang mapanood ito.
"Inabangan ko talaga. Noong makita ko sa TV, inabangan ko talaga. Kasi doon ko lang makikita, hindi ko pa aabangan? Siyempre, aabangan ko na, di ba? Siyempre, masaya ako. Masaya ako siyempre at, one day, makikilala ko rin yun."
Ano ang nakikita niyang nakuha ng anak sa kanya?
"Siguro sa mga characteristics, hindi ko pa alam. Siguro when I meet him one day, malalaman ko kung ano ang mga namana niya sa akin at kung ano ang namana niya sa mommy niya," sabi ni Patrick.
Matagal nang walang ugnayan sina Patrick at Jennylyn. Pero wala pa rin daw ginagawang move si Patrick para mapalapit sa kanyang mag-ina, kahit noong first birthday ni Alex Jazz.
Paliwanag niya, "For me, unless I'm invited or iwas na lang ako sa conflict or sa gulo para maayos. One day siguro lalambot din ang puso ni Jen. Yun nga. But let's not pressure her or each other. Everything will fall in the right place naman."
