Si Sunshine Dizon ba kasama sa bibigyan niya ng treat?
"Sure," nakangiting sagot ni Iza.
SUNSHINE DIZON. Speaking of Sunshine, dahil sabay ngang ni-launch ang kanilang mga Sine Novela, Kaya Kong Abutin ang Langit for Iza at Tinik Sa Dibdib for Sunshine, ano ang feeling niya sa pagkakatanggal ni Sunshine sa soap nito?
"Tinanong kasi ako dati, sabi ko, 'I don't know if I have the right to say anything.' Kasi personal thing yung nangyari sa kanya. Siyempre, kung ako lang from my end, siyempre malungkot ako dahil sayang yung concept ng shows na back-to-back kami. Pero it is what it is. We have to accept whatever has come our way, whatever has happened. Wala, ganun talaga," maingat na pahayag niya.
Dahil ilang beses na rin niyang nakatrabaho si Sunshine before, yung mga diumano'y complaints ba nung mga nakasama ni Sunshine sa Tinik Sa Dibdib ay naranasan niya rin?
"Wala akong alam diyan," pag-iwas ni Iza. "Ayoko lang mag-ano diyan, kasi medyo mahirap na. Very sensitive issue siya."
STARSTRUCK V COUNCIL MEMBER. Dahil ayaw na ngang pag-usapan ni Iza ang tungkol sa nangyari kay Sunshine ay nag-iba na kami ng topic. Ang tungkol na lang sa pagiging bahagi niya ng StarStruck V Council ang tinanong namin kay Iza, lalo na nga't siya ang pumalit sa dapat sana'y puwesto ni Sunshine Dizon sa Council.
Pero dahil ayaw na nga niyang mag-react tungkol kay Sunshine ay inihayag na lang ng Iza ang excitement niya sa bagong kaganapang ito sa kanyang career.
"Siyempre excited ako. I know na maraming kasamang pressure na kasama nung show. Kasi baka may magtanong kung ano ba ang karapatan ko as Council member? Basta ako gagawin ko na lang yung trabaho ko at ie-enjoy ko every moment of it. I know I will learn a lot. Nae-excite ako kasi magiging part ako ng StarStruck."
Ano klaseng Council member ang mapapanood ng mga tao sa kanya?
"I don't know. Alam mo, I will only know on the first day. But I will be as honest as I can be. No sugarcoating as much as possible. Pero mabait naman kasi ako... I take it easy on people. Siyempre alam ko rin na I should never hurt a person's feeling. Siguro it works for some, pero hindi yun ang style ko. For sure, I will not be a Simon Cowell [American Idol judge]."
Ano ang hinahanap niya sa isang StarStruck Survivor?
"Yung may potential. Yung puwedeng mag-crossover from singing to dancing to acting. Especially acting, kasi dun naman sila kadalasang nilalagay and pinapag-soap opera talaga nila. So, kumuha na tayo ng magaling umarte. Kumuha na tayo ng may star factor. Kumuha na tayo ng mabi-buildup into becoming a real star," saad ni Iza.
ALJUR & KRIS. Isa sa mga naging tanong ng fans kay Iza sa live chat kung sino among sa StarStruck Survivors ang gusto niyang makatrabaho na hindi pa niya nakakatrabaho. Ang sagot ni Iza ay sina Kris Bernal at Aljur Abrenica.
"Oo, sina Kris at Aljur. I'd love to work with them given a chance, maybe a movie or in a soap."
Isa si Iza sa mga artistang dumalo sa premiere night ng launching movie nina Kris at Aljur na Nandito Ako... Nagmamahal Sa 'Yo under Regal Entertainment.
"Sinuportahan ko lang. At saka si Direk Maryo J. [de los Reyes] ang direktor nung movie, na malapit din sa puso ko kaya nandun ako nung gabing iyon," banggit ni Iza.
So, balewala na ba sa kanya yung nangyaring "upstaging issue" sa kanila nina Kris at Aljur noong premiere night naman ng Hollywood movie ni Iza na The Echo? Gumawa kasi ng eksena si Aljur nang bigyan niya ng bouquet of flowers si Kris sa naturang premiere night.
"Wala naman talaga yun. Actually, nobody can upstage you on the premiere night of your own movie, ever. But it's a very petty issue. Wala yun. Okay kami nina Kris and Aljur. And nag-sorry naman sila. Natawa na nga lang ako, e. Alam ni Aljur yun," sabi ni Iza.
