CONVERSATIONS WITH DINGDONG. Kinabahan siya nung first few weeks of work nila ni Dingdong?
"Oo siyempre, kasi mga tao tayo, di ba? So, hindi naman lahat ng tao ay nagmi-mix... Hindi lahat, e. Sa totoo lang. I'm very happy nung once na nakilala ko siya, click naman! Marami kaming similarities, marami kaming differences, tapos, lahat na yun ay napag-uusapan na namin.
"On the set na lang namin yun na-discover. As in minsan, kahit napakababaw na bagay, tapos magiging discussion talaga. Kasi ako, mahilig akong makipag-usap sa tao. Gusto ko kasing maging psychologist.
"So, yung mga maliliit na bagay na magpapakuwento yung tao, lahat ay pinag-iisipan ko. Sasabihin ko, 'So, ganito ba ang ibig mong sabihin?' 'Oo!' Sasabihin ko, 'Ay, baligtad tayo, hindi gano'n ang pinaniniwalaan ko. Yung gano'n.
"Kunwari ako, napakasimple lang... Sinasabi ko na, 'How you feel is a choice.' Eto lang yung naaalala ko, e... Sabi ko, 'Choice mo kung ano ang nararamdaman mo. Kung masaya ka, choice mong maging masaya. Kasi, may mga nangyayaring masama, pero puwede ka namang maging masaya.'
"Sabi niya [Dingdong], 'Hindi, kasi mga tao tayo, e. May mga emosyon 'yan, e. Nadadala ka lang. Kung may nangyari sa 'yong masama, malungkot ka. Kung may mga nangyayaring maganda, natutuwa ka.'
"Sabi ko, 'No! How you feel is a choice. Choice mo yun!' So, ayun... Hanggang sa humaba na nang humaba na yung usapan, nag-e-explain na kami. So, dahil sa mga maliliit na bagay na 'yon, ang dami ko ring natutunan sa kanya, kung paano rin siya mag-isip... magsalita."
Na dati ay walang oportunidad na makilala niya nang lubos si Dong?
"Oo, wala. At saka ang maganda sa kanya... Eto naman ang similarities... Kung ako, may interes ako sa kahit na maliliit na usapan lang, siya rin. Kahit na maliliit na detalye, mahalaga sa kanya. Lahat, napapansin niya. At alam ko yun," sabi ni Rhian.
