"Ang katawan ko, ready na bumalik ng Europe. Pero while there's work, nandito ako. So, I'm just making the most of everything. Hopefully, 2010 will be just as big and exciting as 2009. Enough to keep me here para mapasaya naman ang mga nagiging supporters ko," says KC Concepcion.

Kahapon, November 17, ay ini-launch ang bagong advocacy program ni KC Concepcion sa pakikipagtulungan ng Swatch watches—ang "KC Cares. Swatch Shares." Ito ay bahagi ng 20th anniversary celebration ng Swatch sa Pilipinas.
Ayon kay KC, it only costs ten pesos to feed a hungry child for a day. Kaya naman sa bawat Swatch watch na bibilhin this Fall/Winter 2009 collection, may portion dito na mapupunta sa program ni KC that can feed a child for an entire month.
KC is an ambassador of the UN World Food Programme (WFP), an advocacy na napakalapit sa puso niya. Ito ay sa kabila na kakambal din nito ang ilang panganib sa mga malalayo at liblib na lugar na pinupuntahan nila.
"Yes po, like recently, when we went to Mindanao just last time, yung office po sa Pakistan, sumabog, may nagbomba. So, that was not great news for us. And there's a Filipino that died na taga-WFP. So, oo po, dangerous din po. But they've been doing this for so long na parang, I guess, it's really an honor to be part of an agency like WFP. So, hindi ko na iniisip yun," pahayag ni KC sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang entertainment press.
Paano siya nabibigyan ng security sa pagpunta niya sa mga liblib at mapanganib na lugar?
"They have civilians and they also have military. But they have a really good security naman po. At saka, tinatawagan din po yata ni Tita Shirley [Kuan, KC's manager] si Tito Binoe, si Robin Padilla, kapag pumupunta kami. Pero ewan ko lang po kung effective yun, mukha naman po!" natatawa niyang sabi.
Sabi ng mommy ni KC na si Sharon Cuneta, natatakot daw siya sa mga lugar na pinupuntahan ng kanyang anak. Pinagsasabihan din ba siya ng Megastar tungkol dito?
"Never po siyang nagsabi directly na huwag magpunta, but nararamdaman ko po na minsan natatakot naman siya. But there's nothing to be scared of. Again, part siya ng bigger picture at hindi lang naman po ako ang nagtatrabaho rito. At saka, alam naman po nila, commitment ko po," saad niya.
Sino yung mga inspirasyon niya para itaguyod ang mga ganitong klaseng advocacy?
"Siguro yung mga batang nakikita ko sa Mindanao," sagot ni KC. "Of course, palagi ko silang naiisip when it comes to this kind of stuff. But Tita Virgie [Ramos of Swatch] has been very generous and Swatch has been so supportive. At hindi lahat ng kumpanya, magiging willing na gawin 'to."
Nararamdaman ba niya kung gaano ka-proud ang parents niya sa kanya?
"We talk from time to time. And I'm proud of them as well, especially with my mom. I never told her that personally, but I'm very proud of the kind of woman she is. And I hope I make her proud."
PIOLO PASCUAL. Masarap din daw na sa mga ginagawa niyang pagtulong ay may katuwang siya rito. Nandoon na rin ba siya sa point na naghahanap ng isang lalake na makakasama niya sa mga advocacy niya?
"Well, siyempre po, dapat din naman po nanggagaling sa puso niya. So, ayoko namang i-dictate yun or i-request yun kung sinuman siya," sabi ni KC.
Totoo bang sinabi niyang ready na siyang magka-boyfriend ngayon?
"Not naman boyfriend, but somebody to take care of," paglilinaw niya. "I'd like to take care of someone now. But in terms of marriage, parang no na muna. And when I take care of someone, we also have a lot of work right now."
Nakangiting inamin ni KC na may mga nanliligaw sa kanya ngayon. Pero kumusta na nga ba ang panliligaw sa kanya ng kanyang leading man sa Lovers In Paris na si Piolo Pascual?
"Of course, napag-uusapan naman namin ni PJ na habang meron kaming projects sa showbiz, we should really focus on our work," sagot ni KC.
Hindi kaya after Lovers In Paris ay mawala na rin kung anuman meron sa kanila ni Piolo?
"Well, siguro po, bilang lalake at babae, nasa sa kanya po yun. And so far, kung anuman po ang naipapakita niya, sobrang ganda naman po and he's a very good guy. We're very good friends. At ang babae naman po, naghihintay lang," aniya.
