Rhian Ramos was clueless about the recent statement of her former co-star JC de Vera on Startalk about their budding relationship in La Lola.

The young actor said nothing happened because, "Siguro sabihin na nating talagang may mga nangyayari, may mga pumipigil talaga. Maraming pumipigil, pero okey lang." (CLICK HERE to read related article) 

But the 19-year-old actress didn't know what JC was talking about.  Instead, she just pointed her decision not to enter into a romantic relationship yet.

"Ewan ko kung may pumipigil.  Wala lang.  Sa mga desisyon na nagawa ko, I've decided to remain single.  Ewan ko kung bakit recently hindi 'yon naging maganda pero matagal na akong nag-decide to remain single," said Rhian in an interview during the media junket that Belo Medical Group prepared for her yesterday, November 24, at Annabel's Restaurant, Tomas Morato Avenue in Quezon City.

The young actress said that her decision has nothing to do with JC's intention about her.  She explained, "Months and months and months ago pa 'yon na nag-decide ako na sabi ko ito ang buhay ko for now.  I think hindi dapat muna ako mag-focus sa lovelife or kahit ano [kundi] sa work muna talaga, sa ambitions ko sa buhay ko."

She also admitted that due to her hectic schedule, she didn't have time to communicate with her former love team that often.

Rhian explained, "Actually, kahit sino pa ang tanungin mo sa phonebook ko, marami silang hindi ko nate-text.  May mga times na kunwari magre-reply ako, 'tapos sasabihin ng tao, 'Uy, three days ago ko na 'na-text.  Bakit ngayon ka lang nag-reply?'  'Ngayon ko lang nabasa.'  Ganun na ako ngayon, promise."

Despite this, the Stairway To Heaven star assured that nothing would change her friendship with JC.  In fact, she said, she's still willing to do another project with the young actor.  "I would be very excited to work with him again," she stated.

STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN. With only three weeks remaining, Rhian was grateful that the audience still supports her TV series with Dingdong Dantes.  She was also happy that Stairway To Heaven recently topped the daily ratings.

The young actress promised the audience that she and  her co-stars would give their best in their next episodes.

"Actually itong Stairway To Heaven, sobrang group effort siya," said Rhian.  "Aaminin ko, hindi siya madaling gawin.  Pero salamat sa Diyos at na-pull off naman namin at mukhang tinatanggap naman ng mga tao ang pagganap namin bilang Tristan, Eunice, Cholo or Jody or kung sino pa man [show].  Tuwang-tuwa kami kasi ayun na nga, nabigyan kami ng napakagandang role, napakagandang script.  Ayaw naming sayangin 'yon, so ginawa namin ang best namin, nilalabas namin ang best namin."

Rhian also expressed her feelings towards people who initially opposed her team up with Dingdong Dantes.

She said,"Before mahirap lang tanggapin kasi bago.  Lahat naman ng mga bagong love team ganun or kahit hindi love team, basta kahit partner lang, isang project lang.  Usually, ang hirap tanggapin sa una lalo na kung nanggagaling sa ibang love team ang pinagpa-partner.  Pero after a while kapag nagsi-sink in na,kapag pinanonood na natin hindi dahil sa kung sino 'yong gaganap ng anong role pero dahil sa kuwento, matatanggap na rin."

The young actress added that her working relationship with Dingdong turned out well that she's open to work with him again in her future project.  She said, "nae-enjoy ko talaga 'yong working relationship namin sa Stairway.  Ang sarap niyang ka-trabaho and mae-enjoy ko kung in the future nagkaroon kami ng isa pang project."

Since there were rumors saying that Dingdong might be paired again with his former onscreen partner, Marian Rivera, is it okay if she plays a love triangle with them?
