GMA-7 offers two new star-studded afternoon soaps

Magkasunod na magpa-pilot ang dalawang bagong Sine Novela ng GMA-7 sa kanilang Dramarama Sa Hapon block. Ito ay ang Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak na papalit sa Kaya Kong Abutin ang Langit, at Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita? na papalit naman sa Tinik Sa Dibdib.
Parehong TV remake ang dalawang bagong afternoon soaps na ito ng Kapuso network.
Ang Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak ay remake ng 1990 film ni Lino Brocka, na pinagbidahan nina Dina Bonnevie, Christopher de Leon, Charo Santos-Concio, Eddie Garcia, Allan Paule, and the late Francis Magalona.
Ang Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita? naman ay remake ng 1985 film ni Pio de Castro III, na tinampukan nina Lorna Tolentino at ng yumaong aktres na si Rita Gomez.
Nauna nang nag-storycon ang Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita? na ididirehe ni Gil Tejada. Kahapon naman, January 14, ginanap ang storycon ng Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak to be directed by Maryo J. delos Reyes, at bukas ang pictorial ng buong cast.
Sa pagkakaalam ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), sa January 25 na ang pilot episode ng Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita?, at susunod naman sa February 8 ang Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak.
GUMAPANG KA SA LUSAK. Pinangungunahan nina Dennis Trillo at Jennylyn Mercado ang Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak. Kasama rin dito sina Sandy Andolong, Ryza Cenon, Mart Escudero, Prince Stefan, Vaness del Moral, Al Tantay, Julio Diaz, Michael Sandico, at Glydel Mercado.
Makakasama rin dito ang isang galing ng StarStruck V pag natapos na ang reality-based artista search sa February 21. Ayaw pang sabihin ng aming source kung lalake o babae, grand winner o isa sa Final 14 ng StarStruck V, ang isasama sa cast.
Identified sa ABS-CBN si Al, pero nasa soap siya ngayon ng GMA-7. Gagampanan niya sa Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak ang role na ginampanan ni Eddie Garcia sa pelikula. Originally ay si Ariel Rivera ang kinunsidera sa role ng mayor na eventually ay ibinigay nga kay kay Al Tantay.
Si Gelli de Belen naman ang unang kinunsidera para sa role sa pelikula ni Charo, na ngayo'y presidente na ng ABS-CBN. Pero napunta kay Sandy Andolong ang naturang role na inspired diumano kay dating Unang Ginang Imelda Marcos.
Isa pang kaabang-abang sa Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak ay ang muling pagsasama ng StarStruck winners na sina Jennylyn at Ryza, na hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin magkabati at nag-away dahil kay Mark Herras.
Hindi pa namin alam kung magkaibigan ang role nina Jennylyn at Ryza, pero maganda sigurong pagsamahin sila palagi sa mga eksena para magkasundo na sila.
INA, KASUSUKLAMAN BA KITA? Ang mag-inang Jean Garcia at Jennica Garcia naman ang title-roler sa Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita?. Ang iba pang kasama sa cast ay sina Ariel Rivera, Iwa Moto, LJ Reyes, Dion Ignacio, Lloyd Samartino, Karla Estrada, Regine Tolentino, Richard Quan, Luis Alandy, at Paulo Avelino.
Si Paulo ang leading man ni Jennica rito. Tiyak na mabubuhay ang tsismis sa kanilang dalawa dahil, aminin man nila o hindi, there was a time na niligawan ni Paulo si Jennica.
