"Masaya ako na kasama ko siya ulit dahil nga talagang we're having a good time shooting the movie. Siyempre, it's a different experience kapag katrabaho mo ang isang John Lloyd Cruz," says Bea Alonzo about her reunion movie with the Box-Office King.

After almost three years of not working together in a movie, reigining Box-Office King John Lloyd Cruz and former Box-Office Queen Bea Alonzo, are reunited in Star Cinema's post-Valentine movie Miss You Like Crazy. (CLICK HERE to read related article.)

Bea admitted that she missed being paired with the actor and when they started shooting the movie, she discovered new things about John Lloyd.

Although they were paired in ABS-CBN's defunct primetime series I Love Betty La Fea (2008), Bea said the experience was different because they were not able to talk to each other then since she was always included in most of the scenes.

Dito [sa Miss You Like Crazy], medyo matagal 'yong hintayan, tapos ang saya-saya sa set.

Bea also discovered that John Lloyd has opened himself to more people around him.

Lalong-lalo na siya [Direk Cathy], kasi tagal na niyang kasama 'yan from One More Chance, Close To You. After One More Chance, may dalawa pa silang pelikula.

"Mahiyain kasi si John Lloyd dati," she continued.

KEEPING THE LOVETEAM SUCCESSFUL. John Lloyd and Bea have already proven that they are effective as onscreen lovers in their past movie and TV projects. However, both say that they don't have to be together in real life.

So, in that case, hindi namin kailangang ipilit kung hindi talaga nangyayari at kung hindi talaga kami nabibigyan ng mga sitwasyon sa amin to do that or to feel that."

Didn't she ever get attracted to her loveteam partner over time?

The Kapamilya actress also gives credit to their mother network for always giving her and John Lloyd good projects.

From the first movie na nagawa namin, hanggang sa 'yong every time talagang dapat mayroon kaming dapat ipakita. Talagang pinu-push nila kami beyond our limits, especially the directors na nabibigay sa amin," Bea said.

"KINABAHAN AKO." While Bea was not doing any project with John Lloyd, he did two movies with Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo—A Very Special Love (2008) and You Changed My Life (2009). These movies both became box-office hits, which somehow made Bea worried.
