Georgina Wilson's rumored foray into showbiz has nothing to do with the model's desire to keep fit and healthy. "I keep fit for myself. The popularity of running as an avenue to maintain a healthy lifestyle has caught up with model Georgina Wilson.
The pretty Filipino-British model took time out to participate in Century Tuna's first Superbods Run staged yesterday morning, February 21, at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
Georgina goes to the gym regularly to work out. But doing an outdoor activity like jogging offers a lot of extra perks not commonly found in indoor sports. For one, Georgina likes the fact that one can openly socialize and mingle with other enthusiasts while burning those calories away.
For the said event, Georgina was joined by some of her friends both in showbiz and the modeling industry.
There are a lot of talks recently saying that Georgina is planning to join show business. Georgina, of course, has been very visible to the public lately. A billboard for local retail giant Bench features Georgina together with Wowowee host Willie Revillame.
Georgina was present at Revillame's 49th birthday party held last January 31 at the latter's residence in Ayala Heights, Quezon City. Another rumor has it that Georgina is being eyed by GMA-7 to star opposite ex-boyfriend Richard Gutierrez in the upcoming television adaptation of Captain Barbell.
"I know, they know more than me pa. I don't know what's going on," Georgina told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) when reminded of the ongoing rumors.
Georgina, however, did not deny that there are offers for her to try out other gigs outside modeling. But nothing is definite yet at this point, clarified Georgina, who is also into yoga as another form of exercise.
"I'm very excited and I love all the offers," said Georgina. "But I guess I'm just trying to figure out what I want to do... Let's wait and see na lang."
