"When we saw Jinkee at the Cotto fight, as friends we... I offered my support," sabi ni Rachel. "If she wants to talk, we're here. But we don't go into, 'Is that true?' Honestly, it's all tsismis lang talaga. So, as friends, we offered support lang. I feel sorry that people try to destroy a relationship as good as theirs. I mean, there's a family behind them, they have kids. You have to be careful with things like that especially with the kids. I think Jinkee and Manny are strong enough. They've been through all these intrigues, so I know they can overcome others that will come as well."

As friends of Manny and Jinkee, ano ang message na gusto nilang sabihin sa mag-asawa?

"Communication I think is the key," sabi ni Nonito. "The kids are important naman. For me, they are older than me, so wala pa akong krapatan na magsabi ng ganito, ganyan. Hindi ko pa na-experience yung mga na-experience nila. So, wala po talaga akong masabi except for supporting them. When they need a shoulder or friend to call, nandito lang kami."

READY TO FACE INTRIGUES. Ngayong kinuha na rin sina Nonito at Rachel ng GMA Artist Center bilang talents, dahil sa kanilang pagpasok sa showbiz, ready na rin ba silang humarap sa mga intriga katulad ng mga ibinabato sa mag-asawang Pacquiao?

"Kahit hindi pa kami celebrity, meron naman talagang ganun-ganun [intriga]," banggit ni Nonito. "You know, we just try to avoid yung mga circumstances that might come out. Of course, you never know. What matters is we trust each other. Kasama ko naman lagi ang wife ko. We just laugh at it if ever. Kasi alam naman namin kung ano yung totoo and we're always together."

Hindi ba nag-aalala si Rachel na dumating yung point na magloko ang asawa niya dahil pinasok na rin nito ang showbiz kung saan maraming temptations?

"I don't think it's even just showbiz," sagot ni Rachel. "I think that whether you're a doctor, a boxer, a jeepney driver, it's same thing. I mean, it's really just about how you handle it. I guess what we have is good communication. If there's something that we don't agree with, there's something I don't feel good about, we just talk about it. So far, there never came a time that I became jealous and throw hima thing or yell at the girl. It doesn't do anything, fighting never better a couple at all."

Paano kung maintriga si Nonito sa kanyang magiging leading ladies, paano niya iha-handle ito?

"Well, like I said, kasama ko lagi ang wife ko," diin ni Nonito. "You know, wala kami yung lumalabas ako at may sikreto ako. Wala kaming ganun. Wala akong sikreto. E-mails ko, text ko, lahat ng phone numbers nandun, alam niya lahat yun. Siya yung naghahawak ng phone ko. Wala akong itinatago sa wife ko. So, it's hard for me na maintriga na ganito ganyan because wala akong itinatago, e. So, I think that's the best way in this world kapag wala kang itinatago sa person na you truly love. Wala akong  problema."

Ano naman ang reaksyon ni Rachel dito na tila sinasabi ni Nonito na hindi siya magloloko?

"You know, I am truly blessed to have someone like him that really loves me," aniya.

Singit naman ni Nonito, "And I'm truly blessed to have someone like her kasi she's been there for me, not only as a wife. Kahit we've only been married for almost two years, it's like we have known each other for a very long time. Pag mahal n'yo ang isa't isa and you trust each other, I think that's the key for a better and happy life together."

RESPONSIBLE PARENTS-TO-BE. Right now wala pang anak sina Nonito at Rachel, pero gusto na rin daw nilang magkaroon ng anak.

"Practice makes perfect!" biro ni Nonito.

Kaya lang daw sa ngayon ay nag-a-adjust pa sila sa ilang bagay sa buhay nila.
