After a few days of public speculation, singer Rachelle Ann Go is now officially a Kapuso!

Rachelle and her manager, Ms. Veronique del Rosario-Corpus of Viva Artist Agency, signed an exclusive contract today, April 7, at the GMA Network Center.

Rachelle's first project with the Kapuso network is the Sunday musical-variety show Party Pilipinas, where she will join fellow Viva artist Mark Bautista. Rachelle and Mark used to be part of ABS-CBN's ASAP XV, which has the same timeslot as Party Pilipinas.

Aside from Party Pilipinas, Rachelle will appear in the upcoming projects of GMA-7.

It may be recalled that PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) was the first to break the news that Rachelle would move to Party Pilipinas. (CLICK HERE to read related story.)

This is sort of a homecoming for Rachelle, who won in Search For A Star in 2004, a singing contest co-produced by GMA-7 and Viva Entertainment hosted by Regine Velasquez
