Ako, okay naman po sa akin, wala namang problema po," says Tyrone Perez when asked if he's still willing to play sexy roles in his future movie projects. The newly transferred Kapamilya star has gone daring in his previous movies such as Twilight Dancers and Pipo.

Tyrone Perez is grateful for the warm welcome he's been receiving from his fellow Kapamilya stars. The former StarStruck Batch 1 Avenger recently signed a contract with ABS-CBN's talent arm, Star Magic.
"Feeling ko, talagang Kapamilya ako. Nararamdaman ko talaga na Kapamilya ako kasi lahat ng mga nakakasalubong ko diyan sa hallway po, wine-welcome po nila ako," said Tyrone when PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked him how he felt during his first days in ABS-CBN.
PEP was able to interview Tyrone at the presscon of the primetime series Momay held yesterday, June 2, at the 9501 restaurant in ABS-CBN.
The ex-Kapuso star said that he informed his former mother network properly about his transfer to the Kapamilya network.
After his stint in StarStruck, Tyrone became an exclusive artist of GMA-7 for four years. Then, he entrusted his showbiz career to the late talent manager Douglas Quijano. Unfortunately, Quijano passed away last year, which deeply affected Tyrone.
"Si Tito Dougs po, biglang nawala po. After po no'n, after ilang months, siyempre naaapektuhan po ako doon.
Nag-meeting na po kami with Ms. Malou [Santos, Star Cinema managing director] and Mr. [Johnny] Manahan [Star Magic head]," he narrated.
But is his transfer also a result of not having enough projects on GMA-7?
STAYING FOCUSED. As a new Kapamilya, Tyrone is currently undergoing several acting workshops, which aims to improve his acting skill especially now he's given his first TV project on ABS-CBN. He is part of the early priemetime series Momay, topbilled by child sensation Xyriel Manabat.
"Ako po, talagang sobrang focus ako for now kasi first time ko dito na gagawa po ng soap. Gusto ko pong ipakita 'yong talagang talent ko at passion ko," the 23-year-old actor said.
In his past movie projects, Twilight Dancers (2006) and Pipo (2009), Tyrone played sexy roles. Will he still be open to portray such characters now that he's under Star Magic management?
Tyrone portrays the character of Gary in Momay.
