Hindi rin nakalimutang pasalamatan ni Kris ang buong staff and crew ng The Buzz pati na rin ang mga executives ng ABS-CBN.
"Sabi ni Ate, 'Wag kang iiyak. Kasi kung anu-ano na naman ang sasabihin ng mga tao.' Pero pagbigyan n'yo na po ako kasi mahirap naman talagang magpaalam. But it's been a really wonderful ten years," sabi niya.
Isang espesyal na pasasalamat naman ang handog niya sa kanyang co-host at best friend na si Boy Abunda na hindi na rin napigilang mapaiyak.
"Most of all, thank you Boy. Kasi ibinigay mo na sa akin ang lahat, ng buong pagkatao mo, ng buong tiwala mo. I found the love that I could ever gain. Thank you for always being ready to defend me and understand me. You became Boy, I became Kris during this journey. And the partnership we had, siguro wala namang makaka-question, we had one of the best marriages on TV," biro ni Kris kahit na umiiyak.
May mga bilin naman si Kris para sa bagong host ng The Buzz na si KC Concepcion.
"Kayce, I was your age when I started. So, look forward to so many good things because you are so blessed to be with the best. You're learning from the best, you're working with the best. It will only make you the best. Kaya maraming salamat."
Siyempre nag-thank you rin sa Kris sa kanilang studio audience at mga manonood sa patuloy na pagsuporta sa The Buzz at sa kanya.
LEAVING HAPPY. In-assure naman ni Kris sa lahat na masaya siya sa naging desisyon niya at privileged pa rin siya na nabigyan siya ng pagkakataon para magpaalam.
"Gusto ko lang pong sabihin sa inyong lahat na I'm gonna go happy. Kasi ang konti-konti ng nandito sa industriya namin na nabibigyan ng pagkakataon na magpaalam while their show is still on top. And they are still considered a prized possession of the network. It's a rare blessing that my Mom [the late President Cory Aquino] always prayed for me. Sabi ng Mom na, 'Kristina, sana hindi umabot sa panahon na malaos ka at nakapag-ipon ka na ng enough para kung anuman ang mangyari, okay kayo.' So, Mom, everything happens siguro as part of God's will and I accept that. I know, Mom, na this whole day, you were here and you know na kasi pag sad ako, ikaw yung may pinakaunang may alam. So, alam ko rin na bibigyan mo ako ng lakas."
Kahit emosyonal ang mga tao sa loob ng studio, hindi nila napigilang mapatawa sa sunod na tinuran ni Kris.
"Who knows, six years from now, with science, baka maganda pa naman ako. At hindi pa ako kulubot, baka puwede pa akong bumalik sa The Buzz. Or baka six years from now, ako na ang nagsu-swearing in!" biro ni Kris na umani ng malakas na palakpakan at sigawan mula sa studio audience.
Pero aniya, "Joke lang po yun. Lahat ng mga ano diyan baka magalit na naman po kayo sa akin. Thank you very, very much po sa inyong lahat."
Dagdag pa ni Kris, "Gusto ko lang pong sabihin sa inyong lahat na whatever the future holds, whether you'll see me again after Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo, tanggap ko yun. Really, hindi naman mahirap tanggapin kung alam mo na maganda naman yung dahilan at hindi dahil pinaalis ka."
MOST FULFILLING STOPOVER. Talaga namang pinahahalagahan ni Kris ang kasikatang tinamo niya.
"Gusto ko lang sabihin sa buong Pilipinas at sa lahat ng mga nanonood ng The Buzz, in life's journey, this is one of the most fulfilling and the most educational stopovers I made. And in the journey of life, I will always be grateful that in the ten years you allowed me to be a part of your Sundays. Thank you very much.
