ABS-CBN on reported changes in its daytime programming: "These are mere speculations. They are not official."

Adds that they will have a "proper announcement" if it does happen.

Wowowee, the noontime show of ABS-CBN hosted by Willie Revillame (main photo), is reportedly being replaced by the back-to-back noontime shows of Kris Aquino (inset, top) and Robin Padilla (inset, bottom) in September. But ABS-CBN says "these are mere speclations" and "not official."

"These are mere speculations. They are not official," says ABS-CBN Corporate Communications head Bong Osorio in response to an article posted by PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) yesterday, June 30, about the "radical changes" in the daytime programming of the Kapamilya network this September. The PEP article was based on the information given by an ABS-CBN insider. According to the source, Wowowee will soon be replaced by back-to-back noontime shows of Kris Aquino and Robin Padilla.

Although Mr. Osorio neither confirmed nor denied the report, he said: "We will have a proper announcement if there will be changes in our daytime programming."
