I love watching Glee. It celebrates diversity in people. There's a gay, a cripple and there's Mercedes who is fat.All of them are there because of their talents.So I don't get it why Charice has to undergo painful procedure to have her face look narrower. She's still young to need all these enhancements. Worse of all,she took the advice of somebody who already looks like a zombie. Kawawang bata.

Belo contradicts herself. Initially she hinted to Charice that the procedure will make her face look thinner. Now they're making excuses that the procedure was done for corrective purposes. Charice never complained of pain in the jaw in the first place. No amount of damage control is going to rectify the situation. Wag na kayong makialam kay Charice at kayo rin ang hahatak sa kanya pababa.

I firmly believe that the medical associations that are governing their ranks should implement strict policies on cases like this. It is indeed worrisome that wrong message could be sent to the youngs who are already pressured by the wrong value on beauty. It is really a pity that Charice was sweet-talked by this very unprofessional doctor who is just after the publicity that she could gain. I don't blame Charice for trying to look better. She grew up in a country where the people value good looks more than talent and personality and where the celebrities make the TV viewers believe that looks are everything.

The US people are very critical of celebrities who go through the needle and knife for the purpose of looking good. They see this not only as proof of low self-esteem but also as a bad example to the public especially to women. I understand that Charice is insecure of her face, human nature ang pagiging insecure minsan lalo na when you're a teen. But it was a wrong move for her to publicize it. And Belo is selfish and a user. Halatang pinlano nya to para bumango ulit ang pangalan nya after all the scandals that she got into.
