Actor-model Zanjoe Marudo appeared as a guest on The Buzz segment called "TGIS." In the August 8 episode, he faced the intriguing questions of host Toni Gonzaga, particularly those involving him and his former girlfriend Mariel Rodriguez and his new leading lady, Cristine Reyes.

In the June 17 episode of SNN, Mariel Rodriguez emotionally disclosed that "it wasn't exactly her decision" to break up with Zanjoe.

Now put on the spotlight, Zanjoe clarified several controversial issues. The first issue was regarding a statement made by Cristine Reyes about her impression of the actor. (CLICK HERE to read related article.)

Cristine said, "Si Zanjoe ay malabong tao. Di ko alam. Di ko siya ma-gets..." Toni straightforwardly asked him if he was courting Cristine, his leading lady in ABS-CBN's upcoming teleserye, Martha Cecilia's Kristine.

"Hindi ako nanliligaw," Zanjoe replied. "Malabo pa... Ang panliligaw ay di ko normal na gawain."

The host then inquired about his current priorities. Zanjoe pointed out, "Di ba, lahat ibibigay ang lahat sa family...lahat ng anak. Pagdating pa sa pamilya, wala pang titimbang doon. Nasa sa iyo iyon kung saan mo ipa-prioritize..."

Toni finally asked Zanjoe, "What's your side of the story regarding the breakup?" The host attempted to get information from the actor, but in vain. Zanjoe didn't want to discuss the breakup. To him, it was a closed issue and both he and Mariel have moved on.

On the issue of Robin Padilla being romantically linked to his ex-flame, his reaction was, "Wala akong maramdaman. Natuwa ako na may nag-aalaga na sa kanya. Masaya ako [para] kay Mariel."

The actor didn't give any statement when asked if he was ready to enter into a new relationship.

For her final question, Toni asked: "Ano ang mas matimbang: pintig ng puso or lukso ng dugo?" 

Zanjoe remarked, "Pintig ng puso. Ang lukso ng dugo, habang buhay 'yan."
